Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section three hundred and eighty-nine of the Native
Land Act, 1909, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby lay out and take as a road the land described in
the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road laid out and
taken:

Situated in Block XIV, Maungataniwha Survey District
(Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 23503.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
64912, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of February, 1926.

Amending a Proclamation setting apart Land for Selection
in Kaeo Survey District, North Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section five of the Land Act, 1924, it is
therein provided that every Proclamation, Order in
Council, and other instrument, whether made under or by
virtue of that Act or of any former Land Act, and all regulations, by-laws, conditions, or rules made by the Governor-General, the Minister, or any Land Board, may be altered, amended, or revoked from time to time:

And whereas it is necessary to amend a Proclamation issued
under section sixty-three of the Land Laws Amendment Act,
1913, dated the tenth day of November, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-five, and published in Gazette of the nineteenth day of that month, page 3208, proclaiming land
as set apart for selection in Kaeo Survey District, and
hereinafter referred to as “the said Proclamation”:

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by section five of the Land Act, 1924, do hereby
amend the said Proclamation by substituting the description of the land set forth in the Schedule hereto for the
description of the land set forth in the Schedule to the said
Proclamation.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—OMAUNU BLOCK.

Crown Land.

SECTIONS 1 and 2, Block V, Kaeo Survey District : Area,
673 acres.
Section 3, Block IX, Kaeo Survey District : Area, 349 acres.
Sections 4 and 5, Block X, Kaeo Survey District : Area,
304 acres.
Sections 6 and 7, Block X, Kaeo Survey District : Area,
432 acres.
Section 8, Block X, Kaeo Survey District : Area, 404 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of February, 1926.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Subdivisions of the
Whakamaru-Maungaiti Block, Auckland Land District, to
be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the parcels of land described in the Schedule
hereto were, by an order of the Native Land Court
made on the ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred
and twenty-two, duly laid off as a road-line, in pursuance
of sections forty-nine and fifty of the Native Land Amend-
ment Act, 1913:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in
the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed
as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been
forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one
of the said Act :

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention
to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given
by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district
concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1914:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line
should be proclaimed as a public road:

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers conferred by sections
forty-nine and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act,
1913, and in so far as each of these sections is applicable,
do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described
in the Schedule hereto.

set apart as National-endowment Land.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the
Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation approved in Executive Council,
declare that any national-endowment land disposed of under
the Land Act, 1924, or the Land Act, 1908, and held under
lease or license by any person who is competent to acquire
