Borough Waioeka Bridge Loan of £7,000, 1925, authorized to be raised by the Opotiki Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of renewing in concrete a traffic-bridge across the Waioeka River at a point adjacent to Bridge Street, Opotiki, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three farthings (¾d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Opotiki; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

OPOTIKI BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION INCREASING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Opotiki Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Opotiki Borough Waioeka Bridge Loan of £7,000, 1925, authorized to be raised by the Opotiki Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of renewing in concrete a traffic-bridge across the Waioeka River at a point adjacent to Bridge Street, Opotiki, pursuant to section 22 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the said Council hereby increases to seven-eighths of a penny (⅞d.) in the pound sterling the special rate of three farthings (¾d.) in the pound sterling made and levied by resolution passed by the said Council on the 26th day of November, 1925, on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Opotiki, such rate of three farthings (¾d.) in the pound sterling being insufficient to provide for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on such loan; and that such special rate as increased shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

HOBSON COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Hobson County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Hobson County Mount Wesley Coast Road Loan of £700, 1925, authorized to be raised by the Hobson County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling the Mount Wesley Coast Road to Mr. Hilliam’s western boundary, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of threepence and one-eighth of a penny (3⅛d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Mount Wesley Coast Road Special-rating District in the County of Hobson, being part Aoroa Block, containing 1,965 acres 2 roods 36 perches; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

HOBSON COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Hobson County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Hobson County Whatoro-Opouteke Road Loan of £500, 1925, authorized to be raised by the Hobson County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of acquiring, paying compensation, and forming and metalling a deviation of the Whatoro-Opouteke Road through Mr. Dacker’s and other properties, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-eights of a penny (⅞d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Whatoro-Opouteke Special-rating District in the County of Hobson, being described as follows:—
Starting from the north-western corner of Section 3 of Block IX, Tutamoe Survey District, thence by the north boundaries of Sections 3, 4, 12 of said Block IX, Tutamoe, and by the northern boundaries of Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, of Block X, Tutamoe Survey District; thence by the eastern boundaries of Sections 4 and 5 of said Block X, Tutamoe Survey District; thence by the southern boundaries of Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, of said Block X, Tutamoe and by southern boundary of north part of Section 9 of Block IX, Tutamoe Survey District; thence by the eastern boundaries of Sections 6 and 7 of Block IX, Tutamoe Survey District; thence by the north-eastern boundary of Opanake No. 1B 4; thence by the south-eastern boundary of Opanake No. 1B 4, 1B 3, 1B 2, 1B 1 to the Mangatu Stream; thence by the Mangatu Stream to the southern boundary of E part Section 8 of Block IX, Tutamoe Survey District; thence by the southern boundary of said Section 8; and thence by the western boundaries of Sections 8 and 3 of said Block IX, Tutamoe Survey District, to the starting-point,—
and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Hobson County Opanake (Grice’s Road) Loan of £300, 1925, authorized to be raised by the Hobson County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of acquiring and forming the Opanake Road at Kaihu (Grice’s Road) the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of threepence (3d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Opanake (Grice’s Road) Special-rating District described as follows:—
Starting from the north-western corner of southern portion of Section 9 of Block IX, Tutamoe Survey District, thence by the northern and eastern boundary of said Section 9 and eastern and part south-western boundary of Section 17 of Block XIII, Tutamoe Survey District; thence by the south-eastern boundary of Section 5 of Block XIII, Tutamoe Survey District; thence by the north-eastern boundary of Opanake No. 1D North Block and continued in a line to the north-western corner of Opanake 1C North No. 4; thence by the boundary between Opanake No. 1C North No. 4 and No. 4A; thence by the south-western boundary of Opanake No. 1C North No. 4A; thence by the south-eastern boundary of Opanake No. 1C North No. 7B to the Kaihu Stream; thence by the Kaihu Stream to the south-western corner of Opanake 1E 1 Block; thence by the north-western boundary of Opanake No. 1E 1, 1E 2, 1E 3, 1E 5; thence by the western boundary of Section 9 to the starting-point,—
and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
