particularly for the purpose of constructing and creating a
storage reservoir or lake thereon in connection with such
electric works and for road-deviation purposes.

And notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands
so required to be taken are deposited in the post-office,
situate in the railway-station buildings at Tariki, and are
there open for inspection without fee by all persons during
ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the
execution of the said public works or by the taking of such
land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the
execution of the said public works or to the taking of such
lands, set forth the same in writing within forty (40) days
from the first publication of this notice to the Clerk of the
Taranaki Electric-power Board at its offices situate in Bridge
Street, Eltham, Taranaki.

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 230 of the
Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of the
members of the ZEALANDIA SOAP AND CANDLE COMPANY
(LIMITED), in liquidation, will be held at the offices of the
Zealandia Soap, Candle, and Trading Company (Limited),
202 Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Tuesday, the 15th day
of December, 1925, at 2.30 p.m.

Business : To receive the final report and accounts of the
Liquidators in connection with the winding-up and dissolution
of the company.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 230 of the
Companies Act, 1908, and its amendments that a
general meeting of the members of the above-named company
will be held at the office of Mr. W. Anderson, 77 Hereford
Street, Christchurch, on Friday the 11th day of December,
1925, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having
an account laid before the company showing the manner in
which the winding-up has been conducted and the assets of
the company disposed of and of hearing any explanation the
Liquidator may wish to give, and for the purpose of passing
an extraordinary resolution disposing of the books, accounts,
and documents of the company and Liquidator.

THE DUNEDIN FIRE BOARD.

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Fire
Brigades Act, 1908, and their amendments; and in the
matter of the taking for the purposes of a public work
Section 3 and Allotments 5 and 6 on Subdivision Plan
of Section 1, Block XXII, City of Dunedin.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Dunedin Fire Board
proposes, under the powers conferred upon the said
Board by the above-named Acts, and of all other powers
and authorities enabling the said Board in this behalf, to
execute a certain public work—namely, the erection of a

Central Fire Brigade Station with men’s quarters and other
requisite outbuildings, yard, appliances, and equipment—
and for the purposes of such public work the lands described
in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

And notice is hereby also given that a plan showing the lands
required to be taken for the said public work, together with the
names of the owners and occupiers of such lands, is deposited
in the office of the Dunedin Fire Board in Cumberland Street,
Dunedin, and is there open for inspection daily (without fee)
by all persons at all reasonable hours; and that all persons
affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking
of such lands are hereby called upon and required to set forth
in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of
the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, and
to send such writing, within forty days from the first publica-
tion of this notice, to the Dunedin Fire Board addressed to
the Secretary of the said Board at the above address.

Partnership hitherto existing between us at Gore
as Restaurant and Tea-room Keepers has been this day
dissolved by mutual consent.

tauaki 4E 3 Subdivisions 2A 1C and 2A 1D and Manawatu-
Kukutauaki 4D 1 Subdivisions 1A and 2A under the Public
Works Act, 1908, for the Purposes of constructing a Public
Road.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Horowhenua County
Council, under the provisions of the Public Works
Act, 1908, proposes to execute a certain public work—namely,
a road through the above-named Manawatu-Kukutauaki 4E
3 Subdivisions 2A 1C and 2A 1D and Manawatu-Kukutauaki
4D 1 Subdivisions 1A and 2A; and for the purposes of such
public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is
required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given
that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited
in the office of the County Clerk for the Horowhenua County,
in Bath Street, Levin, and is there open for inspection; and
that all persons affected by the taking of the said land must,
if they have any well grounded objections to the execution
of such public work or the taking of such lands, set forth the
