FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Franklin County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Franklin County Council Bothwell Park Road (Otauа) Special-rating Area Loan of £500, 1925, authorized to be raised by the Franklin County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling Bothwell Park Road (Otauа), the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-eighths (&d.) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Bothwell Park Road (Otauа) Specialrating Area, being part of Waipipi Riding of the County of Franklin, and being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Benton's Road Loan Special - rating Area — bounded, commencing at the north-west point of Section 83, Block XVI, Mangaone Survey District, following the western boundary of Section 83 in a southerly direction to the south-west corner of Section l and along the south boundary of Section 1 to the south-west corner of Section 86, and then in a straight south-westerly line to the southern extremity of Lot 6 of Section 87, Block XVI, Mangaone Survey District, and proceeding in a northerly direction along the eastern boundary of Lots 6 and 5 of Section 87, Block XVI, Mangaone Survey District, and Section 84 to the north-east corner of Section 84, Block XVI, Mangaone ; and then in a direct westerly line along the north boundary of Section 84 to the east boundary of Section 83, Block XVI, Mangaone Survey District; and then direct north along the east boundary of Section 83 to the north-east corner of Section 83; and then direct west along the northern boundary of Section 83, Block XVI, Mangaone Survey District, to the point of commencement — and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirtysix and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PURSUANT to the Mining Act, 1908, the undersigned, Athole Heywood William McEwen, of Millers Flat, Orchardist, hereby applies for a license for a water-race, as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of one thousand and fifty-three pounds (£1,053), authorized to be raised by the Eketahuna County Council under the abovementioned Act, for the purpose of reforming and metalling Benton's Road, the said Eketahuna County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one (1) penny and three-eighths (&th) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the
COUNCIL OF THE NEW ZEALAND INSTITUTE OF SURVEYORS.
IN exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it by the New Zealand Institute of Surveyors and Board of Examiners Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities, the Council of the New Zealand Institute of Surveyors hereby makes the following scale of charges, which shall come into force on the fourth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five.
All previous scales of charges are hereby revoked.
