Ngamatea Survey District, being the eastern boundary of the
Parapara Riding, as hereinbefore described; then ce generally
north by the eastern boundary of the Parapara Riding to the
southern boundary of the Ohakune Riding as hereinbefore
described; then ce generally north-east by the southern and
eastern boundaries of the Ohakune Riding as aforesaid
to Trig. E in Block XI, Ruapehu Survey District, being the
southern boundary of the Horopito Riding, as hereinbefore
described; then ce north-east by the southern boundary of
the Horopito Riding as aforesaid to the Ruapehu Trig. in
Block XI, Ruapehu Survey District, being the northern
boundary of the Waimarino County; then ce generally east,
south, and west by the north, east, and south boundaries of

THE following notice, received from the Chairman of the
Board of the Auckland Electric-power District, is
published in accordance with the provisions of the Local
Bodies' Loans Act, 1913.

AUCKLAND ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
Pursuant to section 12 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act,
1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of
the Auckland Electric-power District was taken on the 22nd
day of October, 1925, on the proposal to borrow the sum of
Β£650,000 for electrical development within the Auckland
Electric-power District, and the voting was as follows :-
For the proposal, 2,860; against the proposal, 159; informal, 4.
I therefore declare that the said proposal was carried.

being held at the District Lands and Survey Office, Gisborne,
at 10 a.m. on Thursday, 14th January, 11th February, 11th
March, 8th April, 13th May, 10th June, 8th July, 12th August,
9th September, 14th October, 11th November, and 9th
December during the year 1926.

Notice under the Shops and Offices Act, 1921-22, fixing the
Closing-hours of Bakers' Shops within the Borough of
Waipukurau.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing, signed by a majority
of the occupiers of all the bakers’ shops within the
Borough of Waipukurau has been forwarded to me, desiring
that all such shops within the said borough be closed in the
evening of working-days as follows--On Mondays, Tuesdays,
Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 6 p.m., and on
Fridays at 8 p.m., with the following exceptions--(a) on
the evening of the working-day next preceding Good Friday,
Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, when there shall be no
fixed closing-hour, and (b) on the evening of the working-day
next preceding any of the other days mentioned in or coming
within the meaning of section 26 of the Shops and Offices
Act, 1921-22, when the closing-hour shall be 9 p.m. :
And whereas I, George James Anderson, Minister of Labour,
am satisfied that the signatures to such requisition represent
a majority of the occupiers of all the said shops within the
said borough:
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 32 of the Shops and
Offices Act, 1921-22, I do hereby direct that on and after the
14th day of December, 1925, all the said shops within the said
borough shall be closed accordingly.
The notice dated the 7th February, 1912, and published in
the New Zealand Gazette of the 8th February, 1912, fixing the
closing-hours of all the shops excepting hairdressers, tobacconists, fruiterers, confectioners, and restaurant-proprietors in the
Town District of Waipukurau is superseded in so far as it
relates to the shops affected by this notice, as from the date
of coming into operation of this notice.
