211, and 210E and lines across three roads to the southern
corner of Allotment 213E of the Parish of Pirongia; thence
towards the west by a road to the western corner of Allotment
221 of the Parish of Pirongia; thence towards the south by
a road to the western corner of Allotment 273 of the Parish
of Pirongia; thence towards the south and west by the boundary
of the Parish of Pirongia to the southern corner of Allot-
ment 215 of the Parish of Karamu; thence towards the west
by Allotments 215, 218, and 219 of the Parish of Karamu
to the north-western corner of University College Endowment
Run No. 6; thence towards the north by a road to a point
in line with the eastern boundary of University College Endow-
ment Run No. 4; thence towards the west by a line across
a road and University College Endowment Runs Nos. 4 and
1, to the southern corner of Allotment 55 of the Parish of
Karamu; thence towards the south-west by University
College Endowment Run No. 1 and a line across a road to the
western corner of Allotment 53 of the Parish of Karamu;
thence towards the north-west by the western boundaries
of Allotments 53, 52, 51, 50, and 49 of the Parish of Karamu
and lines across three roads to the south-western corner of
Allotment 46 of the Parish of Karamu; thence towards the
west by the western boundaries of Allotments 46, 45, 44,
and 43 and a line across a road to the southern boundary of
the Parish of Waipa; thence by the southern boundary of
the Parish of Waipa to the commencing-point.

As the said areas are more particularly delineated on the
plans marked P.W.D. 64265 and 64264 respectively, de-
posit in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wel-
lington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
bordered green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of
November, 1925.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir
Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the
land in Taylor Pass Survey District described in the First
Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the
road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road:
3 acres 1 rood.

Being closed road adjoining part Section 70, Omaka; coloured
burnt sienna.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 3 acres
0 roods 25 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Section 70, Omaka; coloured
pink.

All situated in Block VIII, Taylor Pass Survey District.

All in the Marlborough Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 47764,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of
November, 1925.

twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles
Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in
Mount Thomas Survey District described in the Schedule
hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road:
53 acres 1 rood 20 perches.

Portion of Section 5, Lees Valley Settlement, situated in
Block V, Mount Thomas Survey District (Canterbury
R.D.). (S.O. 1938.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 64634,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of
November, 1925.
