Additional Land taken for the Westport-Inangahua Railway in Block VII, Kawatiri Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Westport-Inangahua Railway.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 5 acres 2 roods 22·2 perches, being portion of Section 250, Square 141.

Situated in Block VII, Kawatiri Survey District (Nelson R.D.).

In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 64191, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of October, 1925.

Additional Land taken for the Purposes of an Automatic Telephone-exchange in Block IV, Upper Kaikorai Survey District, Kaikorai Township.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of an automatic telephone-exchange; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 2·1 perches. Being part Allotment 22, part Section 24, situated in Block IV, Upper Kaikorai Survey District, Kaikorai Township.

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 63986, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of October, 1925.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

Defining the Middle Line of a Further Portion of the Stratford Main Trunk Railway (Tahora Deviation), (Portion of Heao Section).

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a further portion of the Stratford Main Trunk Railway (Tahora Deviation), (portion of Heao Section) shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point in Section A 5D of Marae kowhai 2B No. 2, Block VII, Pouatu Survey District, marked 51 miles (which point is also the termination of the railway shown on Plan P.W.D 44024, and described in a Proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 64, of 2nd May, 1918), and proceeding thence in an easterly direction generally for a distance of about 6 miles, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.-viz., Section A 5D of Marakowhai 2B No. 2, Blocks VII and VIII, Pouatu Survey District, Section A 5G 2 of Maraekowhai 2B No. 2, Block VIII, Pouatu Survey District, Section A 5G 1 of Maraekowhai 2B No. 2, Block V, Heao Survey District, Section A 4A of Maraekowhai 2B No. 2, Block VIII, Pouatu Survey District, and Section A 4C of Maraekowhai 2B No. 2, Block V, Heao Survey District; and terminating at a point in the said Section A 4C, marked 57 miles ; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses : all in the Taranaki Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 64119, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of October, 1925.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in New River Hundred described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
