IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Rangiora Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 1 acre 2 roods 24 perches, being portion of R.S. 1179 ; coloured yellow.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a recreation-ground ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 75 acres, being portion of Waihirere and Waihirere No. 2 Blocks.
Situated in Block X, Waimata Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 1243, brown.)
