KAYE AND CARTER (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that upon the 5th day of June,
1925, the following extraordinary resolution was passed
by the above company:—

“Messrs. GAVIN ANDERSON and JOHN WILLIAM KENNETH
LAWRENCE, the Liquidators appointed by the extraordinary
resolution of the company passed on the 19th day of May,
1925, having tendered their resignations and the creditors
of the company in general meeting having appointed Messrs.
NORMAN LINDSAY MACBETH and WILLIAM MACHIN Liquidators
in the place of the said Messrs. GAVIN ANDERSON and JOHN
WILLIAM KENNETH LAWRENCE, with an advisory committee
composed of Messrs. JOHN GEORGE HERDMAN, J. MALING,
and J. H. CUNNINGHAM, that the said NORMAN LINDSAY
MACBETH and WILLIAM MACHIN be and they are hereby
appointed Liquidators of the company in the place of the said
GAVIN ANDERSON and JOHN WILLIAM KENNETH LAWRENCE ;
and that the said appointment by the creditors of the company
be and the same is hereby confirmed ; and also that the said
JOHN GEORGE HERDMAN, J. MALING, and J. H. CUNNINGHAM
be and the same are appointed an advisory committee to act
with the said Liquidators.

In the matter of the AUCKLAND CO-OPERATIVE EGG SOCIETY
(LIMITED).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named
society duly convened and held at 56 Fort Street,
Auckland, on the 29th day of May, 1925, the following extra-
ordinary resolution was duly passed :—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting
that the society cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue
its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and
accordingly that the society be wound up voluntarily.”
And at the same meeting ALBERT HOWARD, of 56 Fort
Street, Auckland, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes
of such winding-up.

subsisting between us, the undersigned ERNEST

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908, and the
Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and their amend-
ments, and the Wellington City Empowering and
Amendment Act, 1924.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-named
Acts and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf,
to execute a certain public work—namely, street-widening
at Raroa Road, in the City of Wellington, and for the
purpose of such public work the lands described in the
Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is
hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required
to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town
Clerk to the said Council in the Town Hall, Cuba Street,
in the said city, and is there open for inspection, without
fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours ; and that
all persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or the taking of such lands should, if they have well-
grounded objections to the execution of the said public
work or to the taking of the said lands, set forth the same
in writing and send such writing, within forty days from
the first publication of this notice, to the Wellington City
Council, addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

SCHEDULE.

That piece of land containing 22·10 perches, situate in the
City of Wellington, being part of Section 29, Karori Registra-
tion District, situate Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey Dis-
trict, in the Land District of Wellington. As the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan above mentioned,
and therein coloured red.

As witness my hand at Wellington this 13th day of June,

at Takapuna, by ARTHUR GEORGE CHUBB, HERBERT MARIA
MCGREGOR, and ERIC ESDALE MCGREGOR, under the style of
“Chubb and McGregor,” has been dissolved so far as the
said Herbert Maria McGregor is concerned by his retirement
therefrom as from the 20th day of May, 1925. The Partner-
