Declaring Portion of Puke Road, in the Clifton County, to be
a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 13th day
of June, 1925.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE J. G. COATES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and
after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
All that portion of Puke Road, in the Taranaki Land District,
Clifton County, commencing at its junction with Tangitu
Road, and proceeding thence generally in an easterly direction
along the boundary between Section 3, Block VII, and Section 1, Block XI, Upper Waitara Survey District, and terminating
at a point on the eastern boundary of the said Section 3;
being a distance of l mile 67 + 77 chains, more or less. As
the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked P.W.D. 62977, deposited in the office of
the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington
Land District, and thereon coloured red.

All that portion of Mohakatino Road, in the Taranaki Land
District, Clifton County, commencing at a point approxi-
mately 10 links south-east of the Waikiri Stream Bridge in
Block III, Tainui Survey District, and proceeding thence
generally in a south-easterly direction, passing through part
of the said Block III and part Block IV, Tainui Survey Dis-
trict, and terminating at a point in the said Block IV approxi-
mately 33 chains west of the junction of the Mangakirikiri
Stream and the Mohakatino River, being a distance of 2 miles
79 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 62532,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured red.

Declaring that the Provisions of Section 109 of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1913, shall apply to a certain Block of
Native Land.

WHEREAS by section twenty-three of the West Coast
Settlement Reserves Amendment Act, 1913, it is
enacted that the Governor-General may by Order in Council
at any time declare that the provisions of section one hundred
and nine of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, shall
apply to any block, section, or subdivision of land comprised
in leases granted or confirmed under the West Coast Settlement
Reserves Act, 1881, and the amendments thereof:
And whereas it is expedient that the provisions of section
one hundred and nine aforesaid shall apply to the land
mentioned in the Schedule hereto, for the purchase of which
the Crown desires to negotiate:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
power and authority conferred upon him by section twenty-
three of the West Coast Settlement Reserves Amendment
Act, 1913, and acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
declare that the provisions of section one hundred and nine
of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, shall apply to
the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

NGATIRAHIRI No. 8G, being Section 51, Block VI, Waitara
Survey District: Area, 91 acres.

Domain.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act,
1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
appoint
Frederick Henry Ernest Collings,
James Faulks,
John Faulks,
Amos McKegg,
Francis David Thomson,
Walter Henry Thomson, and
Robert Boyd Cairns Walker
to be the Wanaka Islands Domain Board, having control of
the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby
appoint Wednesday, the first day of July, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-five, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time
when, and the Pembroke Hall, Pembroke, as the place where,
the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
WANAKA ISLANDS DOMAIN.
All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by ad-
measurement 300 acres, more or less, and known as Harwich
Island, Lake Wanaka. Bounded on all sides by Lake
Wanaka.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by
admeasurement 290 acres, more or less, known as Crescent or
Rabbit Island, Lake Wanaka. Bounded on all sides by Lake
Wanaka.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by
admeasurement 113 acres, more or less, being an island in
Stevenson's Arm, Lake Wanaka. Bounded on all sides by
Lake Wanaka.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District, known as
Merino or Roy's Island, in Lake Wanaka, situate about two
miles from Pembroke.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by
admeasurement 100 acres, more or less, being Section 1,
Block XIII, Lower Wanaka Survey District. Bounded to-
wards the north by a road-line, 2927 links; towards the east
by a road-line, 3304Β·6 links; towards the south by a road-line,
4656 links; and towards the west by Section 2 of same block,
2644 links.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by
admeasurement 11 acres 2 roods 17 perches, more or less,
being Section 29, Block XIV, Lower Wanaka Survey Dis-
trict. Bounded towards the north by a road-line which
bounds Lake Wanaka, 1967 links; towards the east by a road-
line, 1185 links; towards the south-west by a road-line,
2163 links.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by
admeasurement 13 acres 0 roods 13 perches, situate in the
