coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of June,

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests
Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto, being portion of a provisional State forest set apart
by Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth day of April, one
thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and gazetted on the
eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen,
is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with
the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and
after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional
State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of
the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 250 acres, more or less, being part of Pro-
visional State Forest No. 1683, situated in Block II,
Karangarua Survey District. Bounded towards the east
by the Main South Road, towards the south-west by Sec-
tions 915 and 2453, and towards the north-west and north
by the Black Creek. As the same is more particularly
delineated on plan marked L. and S. 10/98/4, deposited in
the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wel-
lington, and thereon edged green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
.General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of June,
1925.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 13th day
of June, 1925.

THE HONOURABLE J. G. COATES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all
other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent
to the Waipara County Council stopping the portions of road
described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be
stopped: 11 acres 1 rood 16 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Sections 10672, 10671, and
32161, Blocks XV, Waikari, and X, Stonyhurst Survey
Districts (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. R.D. 858/398.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 62856,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured green.

Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent
to the Wairoa County Council stopping the road described
in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be
stopped: 7 acres 3 roods 38 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Section 1, situated in Block X,
Nuhaka Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 799.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 62816,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured green.

Declaring Howie’s Access Road, in the Waitotara County, to
be a County Road.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 13th day

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the
date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that road in the Wellington Land District, Waitotara
County, known as Howie’s Access Road, commencing at its
junction with the Ahu-Ahu Valley Road and proceeding
thence generally in a south-easterly and then northerly
direction, adjoining or passing through part Section 3,
Block IX, Tauakira Survey District (including the bridge
over the Ahu-Ahu River), and terminating at a point on
the boundary between the said Section 3 and Section 1,
Block IX, Tauakira Survey District; being a distance of
13 chains, more or less. As the said road is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 62991, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in
the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and
marked A.B.
