Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Mata-a-Vai Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of May, 1925.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

George Ellis,
Robert Stone Florence,
John Graham,
Gustavus Vaughan Hooper,
William Southern Handley,
Adam William Steele, and
Leon Warne

to be the Mata-a-Vai Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the sixth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, at seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the residence of Mr. R. Stone Florence, Mata-a-Vai, Russell, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

MATA-A-VAI DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 3 roods 18·7 perches, more or less, being Lots 40, 50, 62, and 65; as shown on deposited plan No. 16246, Auckland Registry.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Omau Domain.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of May, 1925.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

The Buller County Council

to be the Omau Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the seventeenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Buller County Council’s Office, Westport, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

The Kaikoura County Council

to be the Lynton Downs Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Kaikoura County Council’s Office, Kaikoura, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Angus Cameron,
Leslie Robert King,
William John McGuckin,
Thomas Walker, and
James Guild Whyte

to be the Glenmark Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-fourth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, at half-past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Town Hall, Waipara, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

The North-western Side of Portion of Church Road, in the City of Christchurch, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Christchurch City Council on the sixth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, viz.:—

“The Christchurch City Council, having control of Church Street in the City of Christchurch, hereby by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion of the northern side of the said street lying between Opawa Road and Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. 6913, being part of Rural Section 157”;
