subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land adjoining the north-
western side of the portion of Church Road (described in
the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet
from the centre-line of the said portion of street, such
condition being of the same effect as section thirty-five of
the City of Christchurch By-law No. 1, 1916, Part I,
relating to building-line.

SCHEDULE.
THE north-western side of all that portion of street, situated
in the Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch,
known as Church Road, from its junction with Opawa Road
to the eastern corner of Lot 1, D.P. 6913, fronting Part
Rural Section 157. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 62064, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington,
in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The Northern Side of Portion of Friend Street, in the City of
Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of
the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the
Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of
May, 1925.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following
resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the tenth
day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one,
viz. :—
“ The Wellington City Council, being the local authority
having control of the streets in the City of Wellington,
hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred
and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not
apply to all that portion of the northern side of Friend Street
beginning at its junction with Parkvale Road and extending
for a distance of approximately twenty-four chains to a
point opposite to the eastern boundary of Church Street in
the said city ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land adjoining the northern
side of the portion of Friend Street (described in the Schedule
hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-
line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.
THE northern side of all that portion of street in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Friend Street,
commencing at its junction with Parkvale Road and extending for a distance of approximately 24 chains to a point
opposite the eastern boundary of Church Street. As the said
portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 53297, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Petone, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the
Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the
Building-line.

owned by James Wilson and Archibald McLeod Wilson, of
Wellington, builders, as tenants in common, abuts—
namely, 31·8 perches—being Lots 73 and part of Lot 74
on deposited plan 51, part of Section 5, Hutt District, and
being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 154, folio 221,
Wellington Registry ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land adjoining the eastern
side of the portion of Beach Street (described in the Schedule
hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-
line of the said portion of street.

THE eastern side of all that portion of street, situated in the
Wellington Land District, Borough of Petone, known as
Beach Street, fronting a proposed subdivision of Lot 73 and
part Lot 74 on deposited plan 51, part of Section 5, Hutt
District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked P.W.D. 62383, deposited in the office of the
Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington
Land District, and thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by section forty-three of the Finance
Act, 1924 (hereinafter referred to as “ the said section ”),
and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that
behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
prescribe that the particulars to be given upon giving the
Fire Board of a Fire District the notification required by
subsection two of the said section shall be the particulars
set out in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby declare
that the form set out in the said Schedule may be used for
the purpose of giving such notification as aforesaid.
