HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of the construction of electric works in the County of Inglewood:

Situated in Block VI, Huiroa Survey District (Taranaki R.D.).
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Consenting to the Raising of Loans by certain Local Authorities.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of May, 1925.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made under section twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919, for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it is expedient that such consent should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the Schedule hereto, and it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the said loans.

Declaring Portion of Main Highway in Highway District No. 16, Waikouaiti County, to be a Government Road.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of May, 1925.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of main highway described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of the gazetting of this Order in Council, become a Government road.
SCHEDULE.
DUNEDIN–Christchurch: All that portion of the Dunedin–Christchurch Main Highway, commencing at the northern boundary of the City of Dunedin, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction, and terminating at the intersection of Leith Valley Road at Waitati, passing through the County of Waikouaiti, being a distance of eight miles, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.H. 39, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue and marked A–B on plan.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Urenui Domain.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Christopher Daniel Smith,
Arthur Herbert Halcombe,
William Henry Fuller,
Samuel Topliss,
Charles Herbert Wilson,
Louis Rattenbury, and
Robert Henry Pigott
to be the Urenui Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the twenty-fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Mr. R. H. Pigott’s residence, Urenui, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
