Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Additional Land at Morrinsville for the Purposes of the Kaipara–Waikato Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, it is enacted that if at any time after the issue or making of any Proclamation taking land under the Public Works Act, 1908, and before the payment or award of any compensation in respect of the taking thereof, it is found that the land, or any part thereof, is not required for the purpose for which it is taken the Governor-General may, by a subsequent Proclamation gazetted, revoke the former Proclamation, either wholly or so far as he thinks necessary:

And whereas it is found that part of the land at Morrinsville taken for the purposes of the Waikato-Thames Railway by a Proclamation made under the Public Works Act, 1908, dated the seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four (hereinafter termed “the said Proclamation”), and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 17, of the twenty-seventh day of the same month, page 735, (amended by an Erratum published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 28, of the 24th April, 1924), is not required for the purpose for which it was taken:

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, iu pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby revoke so much of the said Proclamation as amended as effects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 1 rood 19·44 perches. Part railway reserve (part Lot 23, D.P. 2461), Block VI, Maungakawa Survey District, Borough of Morrinsville. (S.O. 22892, blue.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 33038, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured neutral tint.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of April, 1925.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block XII, Hokonui Survey District, Southland County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 9 acres l rood 34 perches. Being portion of Sections 23 and 276, situated in Block XII, Hokonui Survey District.

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 62249, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of May, 1925.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a drill-shed; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 39 perches. Being portion of Allotment 29 of Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland, situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, City of Auckland. (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 23333).

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 62644, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of May, 1925.
