Additional Land at Milton taken for the Purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway to take further land at Milton, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway :
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Situated in Block XVI, Tokomairiro District, Borough of Milton.
In the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 35671, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of April, 1925.

Declaring Portions of a Railway Reserve at Whangamarino to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section five of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, it is provided that in the case of any land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, the Governor-General may, on recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation, declare such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908, and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed of under that Act accordingly :
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section five of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land : 26 acres 3 roods 1 perch and 25 acres 3 roods 13 perches.
Portions of railway reserve, Section 152, Whangamarino Parish, Block XI, Maramarua Survey District, Waikato County. (S.O. 23624, blue.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 35693, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of April, 1925.
