DESCRIPTION OF SECTIONS.
Sections 3s, 3A s, and 19s: Sections contain about 50
acres of light stony flat, balance consists of low easy hill
country in native grasses, with occasional patches of fern
and manuka-scrub.
Sections 6s and 6A s: Section 6s comprises about 40 acres
of light stony flat and about 86 acres of undulating country
in native grass; balance of block (Section 6A s) in native
grass, and varies from easy country to steep spurs and faces.
Sections 7s, 8s, and 8A s: Sections 7s and 8s contain
about 60 acres of light stony flat, balance low hills and ter-
races in native grass. Balance of block (Section 8A s) consists
of good undulating country, mostly in native grass.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION.
The Erina Settlement is situated in the Wairau Valley
about seventeen miles from Blenheim by good motor-road.
There is a tri-weekly mail service to and from the Wairau
Valley. The country ranges in altitude from 400 ft. to
l,700 ft. A permanent supply of water can only be obtained
by well-sinking or by building dams.

Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-

Land for Settlements Act, 1908, and amendments, I, General
Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the

for selection on renewable lease on Tuesday, the twelfth
