Situatet about five miles from the Kohuratahi Railway-station and one mile and a half from the Kohuratahi Road School. Well watered by running streams. Lying well to the sun. All felled and in grass. Mostly strong blue papa country, 400 acres in good pasture, the balance in fair pasture to fern.

Section 10s, Block XIV: Area, 436 acres 3 roods. Capital value, £2,880. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £64 16s.

Situatet about four miles from the Kohuratahi Railway-station and about half a mile from the Kohuratahi Road School. Well watered by running streams. There is a good orchard on the property.

The improvements included in the capital value of the section consist of an old house, cow-shed, and two other sheds, of a total value of £120.

Amending Regulations for the Conservation and Use of the Rotorua Sanatorium, Thermal Springs, and Grounds.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the three-hundred-and-twenty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me on that behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do by this notification revoke the charges for residence, including medical attendance, medicine, nursing, and baths, contained in the Regulations for the Conservation and Use of the Rotorua Sanatorium, Thermal Springs, and Grounds, made on the twenty-first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and do hereby substitute the following in lieu therefor, to take effect on and from the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, that is to say:

"Patients admitted under Regulations 3 and 4, per week £3 3s.; 9s. per day."

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 16th day of March, 1925.

Notice directing that certain Traffic shall not proceed along Portions of the Tokaanu-Taupo Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section eleven of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1910, I, General Sir Charles Ferguson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby direct that the special class of traffic as defined in the First Schedule hereto shall not proceed along the portions of the Tokaanu-Taupo Road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

THE special class of traffic to which this notice applies is the traffic of any kind of horse-drawn vehicle.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road situated in the Auckland Land District, Taupo County, known as Tokaanu-Taupo Road, commencing at a point opposite Native land in Block I, Waitahanui Survey District, 2 chains south-west of the south-western end of the Hinemaimai Stream Bridge, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction, and terminating at a point opposite the said Native land 2 chains north-east of the north-eastern end of the said bridge, being a distance of approximately 5½ chains.

Also all that portion of the said road situated in the said Land District and County, commencing at a point opposite Tauranga-Taupo No. 1 Block, Block IV, Tokaanu Survey District, 10 chains south-west of the south-western end of the Tauranga-Taupo Stream Bridge, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction, and terminating at a point opposite Tauranga-Taupo No. 2 Block, 12 chains north-east of the north-eastern end of the said bridge, being a distance of approximately 23½ chains.

As the said portions of road are more particularly delineated on the plans marked P.W.D. 61942 and 61943, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 20th day of March, 1925.

Authorizing the Laying off of a Road in the Town of Raroa Extension No. 3 of a Less Width than 66 ft.

WHEREAS in the opinion of the Minister of Lands it is inexpedient, by reason of the fact that the land shown upon the plan of Town of Raroa Extension No. 3, affecting parts of Sections 7 and 9, Porirua District, and prepared by Messrs. Seaton, Sladden, and Pavitt, licensed surveyors, is intended to be used wholly for residential purposes, that the road shown therein should be of the width of 66 ft.

Now, therefore, I, Alexander Donald McLeod, Minister of Lands, do hereby, in pursuance of the power conferred upon me by section 17 of the Land Act, 1924, and of every other power me thereunto enabling, authorize the laying-off of such road of a width of 40 ft.: Provided always that it shall not be lawful for any person to erect or cause to be erected any building at a less distance than 33 ft. from the middle of such road.
