  1. All that area within the outer boundaries of Highway District No. 12, as indicated by a red border on the said plan M.H. 20, including all boroughs therein or contiguous thereto.

  2. All that area within the outer boundaries of Highway District No. 13, as indicated by a red border on the said plan M.H. 20, including all boroughs therein or contiguous thereto.

  3. All that area within the outer boundaries of Highway District No. 14, as indicated by a red border on the said plan M.H. 20, including all boroughs therein or contiguous thereto.

  4. All that area within the outer boundaries of Highway District No. 15, as indicated by a red border on the said plan M.H. 20, including all boroughs therein or contiguous thereto.

  5. All that area within the outer boundaries of Highway District No. 16, as indicated by a red border on the said plan M.H. 20, including all boroughs therein or contiguous thereto.

  6. All that area bounded generally towards the north by Highway District No. 16 aforesaid, generally towards the west by Highway District No. 18 hereinafter mentioned, and generally towards the east and south by the sea.

  7. All that area within the outer boundaries of Highway District No. 18, as indicated by a red border on the said plan M.H. 20, including all boroughs therein or contiguous thereto.

The South-western and Western Side of Portion of Wade Street Extension, in the City of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government .Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day of March, 1925.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the twenty-sixth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, viz.:--
"The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the south-western and western side of all that portion of Wade Street Extension beginning at the south-eastern boundary of Lot 51 (D.P. 867), and extending for a distance of approximately 345.5 links, being the portion of road fronting the said Lot 51 (D.P. 867), part Section 3, Kaiwarra Registration District, Block III, Port Nicholson Survey District, and land contained in certificate of title, Volume 317, folio 266";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the south-western or western side of the portion of Wade Street Extension (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.
THE south-western and western side of all that portion of street situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Wade Street Extension fronting Lot 51, D.P. 867, part Section 3, Kaiwarra Registration District, Block III, Port Nicholson Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 62207, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

SCHEDULE.
THE south-eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Grant Road, abutting on part Town Section 626. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 62208, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Notice of Change of the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in the Township of Waverley, Wellington Land District.

CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by section six of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), the Governor-General is empowered, in the case of any public reserve vested in His Majesty or the Governor-General for any of the purposes comprised in Class II of the Second Schedule to the said Act, to change the purpose for which such reserve was set apart to any other purpose:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is portion of a reserve duly set apart for a site for a telegraph-station and post-office, being a purpose within Class II of the Second Schedule to the said Act, and it is expedient to change, as hereinafter provided, the purpose of such reserve so set apart:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, in pursuance of the powers conferred on me by section six of the said Act as aforesaid, declare that the portion of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a site for a telegraph-station and post-office to a site for a war memorial. And I do hereby further declare that this notice is issued subject to the provisions of section seven of the said Act, and shall take effect according to the provisions of that section.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 8.4 perches, more or less, being part of Section 144, Township of Waverley, and bounded as follows : Commencing at a point on the Weraroa Road, 117 links distant from the junction of the said road with Chester Street, thence by right lines towards the east, north, and west by other part of Section 144, for distances of 125 links, 42 links, and 125 links respectively ; and towards the south by the
