CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL.

SPECIAL RATE AS SECURITY FOR ELECTRICITY EXTENSIONS LOAN OF £375,000.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of three hundred and seventy-five thousand pounds (£375,000), authorized to be raised by the Christchurch City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the further distribution and supply of electricity and the provision and erection of all plant, material, and things necessary and incidental thereto, the Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-hundred-and-ninety-three five-hundredths (393/500ths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (being the unimproved value) of all rateable property comprised within the City of Christchurch; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Ohura County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of twenty-two thousand seven hundred pounds (£22,700), authorized to be raised by the Ohura County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of— For widening, culverting, and metalling the—
