day of May, 1924, and gazetted on page 1482 of the New Zea- land Gazette, 1924, on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Otangiwai No. 2 Special rating District in the County of Ohura, such rate of four (4) pence halfpenny (1d.) in the pound sterling being insufficient to provide for payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on such loan; and that such special rate as increased shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 14th day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WHANGAMARINO ROAD BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Whangamarino Road Board hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £400 sterling, authorized to be raised by the Whangamarino Road Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling one hundred lineal chains, more or less, of Swan Road, the said Whangamarino Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 25/32nds of a penny in the pound (£1) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Swan Road Special-rating Area of the Whangamarino Road District, County of Waikato; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
Swan Road Special-rating Area comprises Sections 348 and 378, Block XV, Maramarua Survey District, and Section 379, Block XI, Maramarua Survey District, and Section 380, Block XVI, Maramarua Survey District, and the west and north part of Section 349 (75 acres), Blocks XV and XVI, Maramarua Survey District.
