RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.--LOAN OF £300, SCOTTS
ROAD SPECIAL-RATING DISTRICT.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:--
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in
respect of principal and interest and also the other charges
on a special loan of £300, authorized to be raised by the
Rangitikei County Council under the Local Bodies' Loans
Act, 1913, for the purpose of metalling for the first time the
Scotts Road, being a distance of about 56 chains, and the
cost of raising the loan and the first year's interest and
sinking fund of the loan to be paid out of the loan, the said
Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of three-eighths of a penny (£d.) in the pound sterling
upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of
all rateable property of the Scotts Road Special-rating District,
comprising part Lot 4 (5 acres 2 roods 30 perches),
part Lot 5 (42 acres 0 roods 21.4 perches), Lot 6 (48 acres
3 roods 28 perches), Lot 7 (116 acres 1 rood 2 perches), Lot 8
(66 acres 3 roods 5.9 perches), and Lot 9 (44 acres 1 rood
34.1 perches), on deposited plan No. 5797 of Subdivision of
Sections 6, 7, and 8 in Block II, Koitiata Survey District;
as the said special-rating district is more particularly shown
upon the map attached to the ratepayers' consent to the said
loan and thereon bordered red; and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of May in each
and every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.

and Bachelor of Medicine, University of New Zealand,
now residing in 309 Worcester Street, Christchurch,
hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 24th
January, 1925, to have my name placed on the Medical
Register of the Dominion of New Zealand; and that I have
deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of
the Medical Officer of Health at Christchurch.

of having laid before the meeting an account of the Liquidator,
showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of

IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general
meeting of the above company held on 6th November,
1924, the subjoined resolution was duly passed, and at an
extraordinary general meeting of the company held on 4th
December, 1924, the subjoined resolution was duly confirmed
as a special resolution, viz.:--
" That the HAURAKI MINES (LIMITED) be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908."
And at the last above-named meeting HENRY GILFILLAN,
of Auckland, Company Secretary, was appointed Liquidator
for the purpose of such winding-up.
