Dominion of New Zealand acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve the erection of a monument as a permanent war memorial as provided by the said sections in that portion of the Borough of Taihape described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

TAIHAPETWAR MEMORIAL SITE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, in the Borough of Taihape, being part of the land reserved for public streets, bounded on the north-west by a line parallel to and distant 150 links from the north-western side of Hautapu Street; on the north-east by a line parallel to and distant 100 links from the north-eastern side of Mataroa Street; and on the south-east by a line parallel to and distant 100 links from the south-eastern side of Huia Street.

Consenting to stopping Portions of Road in Blocks V1 and X, Uawa Survey District, Uawa County.

Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL, T N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Uawa County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road permitted to be stopped :-
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
0 2 39.7 Mangaheia 2M Block, Block VI.
2 1 10.9 " Blocks VI and X.

Situated in Uawa Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 985, brown.)

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 57293, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Consenting to Body Corporate borrowing Money and authorizing Payment to Committee of Management.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 16th day of March, 1925.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and thirty-five of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is provided that, with the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council, a body corporate constituted under Part XVII of the said Act may, on the security of a mortgage or charge of the land vested in it, borrow money for any of the purposes therein mentioned:

And whereas the body corporate constituted as aforesaid described in the Schedule hereto has applied for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council accordingly, and also that consent be given to any money so borrowed being paid to the committee of management through the Waiariki District Maori Land Board:

And whereas the Waiariki District Maori Land Board has recommended that such consent be granted, and it seems expedient so to do:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby, pursuant to section three hundred and thirty-five of the Native Land Act, 1909, and all other powers him enabling, grant precedent consent that the said body corporate may, on the security of a mortgage or charge of the land vested in it, borrow money from a State Loan Department or from any person or body corporate, whether by cash credit in current account with a bank or otherwise, for the purpose of enabling the said body corporate to acquire preference shares or debentures amounting to £3,000 in value in a dairying company about to be formed, the sum set out hereunder opposite the name of such body corporate; and doth authorize the payment of any money so borrowed to the committee of management of the said body corporate, through the Waiariki District Maori Land Board.
