HOBSON COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and
of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Hobson
County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Hobson
County Katui-Donnelly's Road Loan of £1,000, 1924, authorized to be raised by the Hobson County Council under the
above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of the formation and
metalling of the Katui-Donnelly's Crossing Road and Kirk's
Road, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of one penny (1d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable
value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
property in the Katui-Donnelly's Special-rating District in
the County of Hobson, being described as—
Starting from the south-east corner of Block IX, Waipoua
Survey District, thence by part of the southern boundary
of Block X, Waipoua Survey District; thence by the
western and northern boundaries of Section 7 of Block X,
Waipoua Survey District; thence by part eastern boundary
of Block X, Waipoua Survey District; thence by the
southern boundary of Sections 23, 22, 21, 20, of Block XI,
Waipoua Survey District; thence by the eastern boundary
of Sections 20, 28, of said Block XI; thence by the northern
boundary of Sections 28, 27, of said Block XI; thence by
the eastern boundary of Section 24 of said Block XI;
and by eastern boundary of Section 25 of Block VIII,
Waipoua Survey District; and thence by that boundary-
line continued in a direct northerly line to the Waipoua
River; thence by the Waipoua River to the sea; thence
by the sea to the starting-point,
and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate
during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on
.the Ist day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half
(36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

County Danks Special-rating District Loan of £100, 1924,
authorized to be raised by the Hobson County Council under
the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and
metalling part of Danks' Road, the said Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of seven-eights (7/8ths) of a penny
in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of
the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Danks
Road Special-rating District in the County of Hobson, being
described as—
Sections 11, 19, 20 of Grahamsfern Subdivision, Block IX,
Maungaru Survey District,
and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate
during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on
the Ist day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half
(36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

TARADALE TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTIONS MAKING ADDITIONAL SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and all
other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Taradale
Town Board hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect
to the principal and interest and also the other charges on a
loan of £450, authorized by the Taradale Town Board to be
raised under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of purchasing land with or without buildings thereon, and
for the erection of workers' dwellings on land so acquired the
Taradale Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate
of one-sixteenth of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable
value (on the basis of the unimproved value) on all rateable
property in the Taradale Town District; and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day
of February in each and every year during the currency of
such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until
the loan is fully paid off.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—WHANANAKI ACCESS
ROAD LOAN, £1,500.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Whangarei County Council hereby resolves as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £1,500, authorized to be raised by the
Whangarei County Council under the above-mentioned Act,
for the purpose of formation, construction, and metalling of
what is known as the Whananaki Access Road, in the Kiripaka
Riding of the Whangarei County, the Whangarei County
Council makes and levies a special rate of 2½d. in the pound
upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the
said Whananaki Special-rating Area, comprising all the area
and rateable property within the boundaries of the following
lines :—
Commencing at the northern boundary corner of Section
2B where road reserve intersects with the head water of the
Whananaki Inlet in the north-eastern boundary corner of
Block VIII, Opuawhanga Survey District, thence south-
west along the course of stream, and then road-line, to the
western boundary of Section 8 ; thence due south by the
western boundary of the said Section 8 and Sections 7
and part 14 to the south-western boundary corner of the said
Section part 14 ; thence due west along the northern boundary corner of Section 14 (Lot 1) to its north-western boundary
corner; thence due south by the western boundary of Section 14 (Lot 1) and Section 15 to the north-eastern corner of
Section 1 ; thence by the north, western, and southern
boundaries of the said Section 1 to its south-eastern boundary
corner; thence continuing due east along the southern
boundary of Sections 13 and 20 to the north-western boundary
corner of Section 28 in Block XII; thence due south
along the western boundary of Section 28 to its south-
western corner; thence east and then north by the boundary
of the said Section 28 to the south-western corner of Section
21; thence due east along the southern boundaries of Sections
21, 27, 28, to the south-eastern boundary corner of the last-
mentioned section; thence in a northerly direction by the
eastern boundary of the said Section 28 to the southern
boundary corner of Section 22; thence north-east by the
southern boundaries of Sections 22 and 21 to the ocean
beach in Sandy Bay; thence northern by the ocean beach
to the Whananaki Inlet; thence generally in a westerly
direction by the southern shore of the said Whananaki Inlet
to the northern boundary corner of Allotment 2B in the north-
eastern boundary corner of Block VIII, Opuawhanga Survey District, being the point of commencement.
That such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the
lst day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan
is fully paid off.
