DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between ARTHUR JOSEPH WATKINS and EDWIN VALENTINE SHARP, carrying on business at Te Puke, Bay of Plenty, as Motor-engineers and Garage-proprietors, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 27th day of January, 1925. The business will in future be carried on by the said EDWIN VALENTINE SHARP, who will pay and discharge all debts and liabilities which may be owing by the late firm.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between ALBERT EDWARD LOVETT and LESLIE ARTHUR CHATTERTON, carrying on the business of Carriers under the name or style of “The Waitara Carrying Company,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 1st day of January, 1925. Creditors of the Partnership are requested to send detailed accounts to Mr. CHATTERTON, to whom all moneys owing to the Partnership should be paid.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the WAKA-ITI LIMITED held at the registered office of the company, Richmond Quay, Greymouth, on Wednesday, the 28th day of January, 1925, at 12 o’clock noon, the following extraordinary resolution was passed, that is to say:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that FREDERICK WALTER SHALLCRASS, of Greymouth, Auctioneer, be and he is hereby appointedd Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

CAMBRIDGE BOROUGH COUNCIL.

(1.) RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE AS SECURITY ON THE WATER LOAN, £37,900.

THAT, for the purpose of providing the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Cambridge Borough Council Water-supply Loan of £37,900, the Cambridge Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two and one-sixteenth pence (2¹⁄₁₆d.) in the pound sterling (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Borough of Cambridge; and the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate payable half-yearly on the first day of February and the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until such loan is fully paid off.

(2.) RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE AS SECURITY ON THE STREETS LOAN, £13,535.

That, for the purpose of providing the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Cambridge Borough Council Street Loan of £13,535, the Cambridge Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three farthings in the pound (¾d.) sterling (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Borough of Cambridge; and the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate, payable half-yearly on the first day of February and the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until such loan is fully paid off.

(3.) RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE AS SECURITY ON FIRE BRIGADE LOAN, £2,145.

That, for the purpose of providing the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Cambridge Borough Council Fire Brigade Loan of £2,145, the Cambridge Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-seventh pence (1/7d.) in the pound sterling (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Borough of Cambridge, and the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate, payable half-yearly on the first day of
