Chang of Nam of Locality “Kowhai” to “Motuhora,”
County of Opotiki.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS settlers in the locality known as “Kowhai,” in the County of Opotiki, desire that the name of such locality should be changed to “Motuhora,” and it is considered expedient to alter the same:

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the name of the locality known as “Kowhai,” in the County of Opotiki, shall be and the same is hereby altered to “Motuhora,” and do assign the last-mentioned name to such locality accordingly: and also do hereby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, not being earlier than six months after the first publication thereof in the Gazette.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of September, 1924.

Additional Land taken for the Purposes of a Public Works Store and Yard at Penrose, Auckland.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a Public Works store and yard at Penrose, Auckland, and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land required to be taken: 1·13 perches, being Part of Lot 33 of Allotment 2, Section 17, Suburbs of Auckland.

Situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District. (S.O. 23069.) In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 60763, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of December, 1924.

Altering the Boundaries of the Central Electric-power Board;

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, and of every other power in anyway enabling me in that behalf, I, Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the boundaries of the Central Electric-power District so as to include the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being the Pukemiro Riding of the County of Raglan; as the said area is

more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 61181, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, this 31st day of December, 1924.

Defining the Middle Line of a Road in Blocks X and VI, Waiapu Survey District—viz., Portion of Te Horo to Tikapa Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1923, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the road desired to be constructed through Blocks X and VI, Waiapu Survey District—viz., portion of Te Horo to Tikapa Road—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point on the Waiomatatini to Port Awanui Road and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction for a distance of about 2 miles 4 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz.: Te Herenga Block L 3H, L 1c, B 2, Taumata-o-te-Whatui No. 3 2A, Block X, Taumata-o-te-Whatui 2c, Blocks X and VI, Whakaumu B Block, Tikapa-a-Hinekopeka Block Nos. 7, 6, and 5, Block VI, all in Waiapu Survey District; and terminating at a point on the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 5, Block VI, Waiapu Survey District, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses. In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 61569, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of December, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf. I, Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 2 roods 30 perches.

Being Section 32, Ngongotaha Village, situated in Block XVI, Rotorua Survey District.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 61567, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of January, 1925.
