Declaration as to Notifiable Diseases.
ROBERT STOUT,
Administrator of the Government.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Health Act, 1920, I, Robert Stout, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the diseases called or known as
Gonorrhoea,
Syphilis, and
Soft chancre
to be infectious diseases within the meaning of the said Act.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, this 29th day of November, 1924.

THE following notice, received from the Mayor of the Borough of Riccarton, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

BOROUGH OF RICCARTON.
At a poll of ratepayers of the Borough of Riccarton taken on the 7th inst., on the proposal of the Riccarton Borough Council to borrow the sum of £1,250 for the purpose of purchasing land, setting back fences, removing buildings, and general work in connection with widening that portion of Clarence Street, Riccarton, as lies between Foster and Princess Streets on the south and Marlborough Street on the north,—
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 111; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 87.
I have therefore declared that the proposal was carried.
