IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section five of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1919, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby make the following appointments of members of the Local Land Purchase Boards for the respective land districts set forth, for a period of two years as from the first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four.

Trustee for the Pembroke Public Cemetery appointed.

JELLICOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section four of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke a certain Warrant dated the sixteenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-two, appointing trustees for the Pembroke Public Cemetery, and in lieu thereof do hereby appoint

Thomas Pearce,
William Allen,
William Andrew Bovett,
James Perrow,
George Leslie Norman,
William Abraham Studholme, and
Walter Henry Thomson

to be trustees to have the maintenance and care of the Pembroke Cemetery as described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

PEMBROKE PUBLIC CEMETERY.—OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by ad-measurement 3 acres 0 roods 3 perches, more or less, being part of Section 1, Block XLVIII, Town of Pembroke, and bounded as follows: towards the north-west by other part of said Section 1, Block XLVIII, Town of Pembroke, 1000 links; towards the south-west by Section 2, Block III, Lower Wanaka Survey District, 299·1 links; towards the south-east by part of said Section 2, Block III, Lower Wanaka Survey District, 1000 links; and towards the north-east by Stone Street, 304·9 links. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 2/405, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged pink.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 11th day of October, 1924.

of Wellington, to be a member of the Dominion Land Purchase Board constituted under the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1919, for the period of two years as from the first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Register of New Zealand 4½-per-cent. Inscribed Stock maturing 15th November, 1938, and the Register of New Zealand 5-per-cent. Inscribed Stock maturing 15th November, 1927, will be closed from the 1st November to the 15th November, 1924 (inclusive), for the purpose of the issue of half-yearly interest.
