Consenting to stopping Portions of Road in Block IX, Matakaoa West Survey District, Matakaoa County.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of September, 1924.

Present:

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Matakaoa County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the development of Water-power (Lake Coleridge Scheme), in Blocks IX and X, Christchurch Survey District.

Declaring Portions of Roads in Remuera and Te Pua Settlements in the Bay of Islands County to be County Roads.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of September, 1924.

Present:

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county roads.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of Pokapu Road, in the Remuera Settlement, commencing at its junction with the Ohaeawai Road at the north-western corner of Tangatapu Block, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction adjoining or passing through Kaimore Native Block and Sections 1s, 6s, 9s, and 13s, Blocks XII and XI, Omapere Survey District, and part Section 18s, Block XI, Omapere Survey District, and terminating at a point about 9 chains from the southernmost corner of the said Section 18s, being a distance of 2 miles 8 chains, more or less; marked A–B on plan.

Also all that portion of Tarahi Road in the Remuera Settlement, commencing at a point at the northernmost corner of Section 27s, Block XII, Omapere Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction adjoining or passing through part Section 22s, Sections 27s, 21s, and part Section 26s, Block XII, Omapere Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Hairu Road, being a distance of approximately 1 mile 12 chains; marked C–D on plan.

Also all that portion of Te Pua Settlement Road, commencing at its junction with the Kaikohe-Ohaewai Road at the south-easternmost corner of Section 5s, Block XV, Omapere Survey District, Te Pua Settlement, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction adjoining or passing through the said Section 5s, Block XV, Omapere Survey District, and Sections 6s, 4s, and part 3s, Blocks XV and XVI, Omapere Survey District, and terminating at a point about 8·75 chains north of the boundary between the said Sections 3s and 4s, being a distance of 74 chains, more or less; marked E–F on plan.

In the North Auckland Land District, Bay of Islands County; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 60066, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked as above mentioned.

Declaring Portions of the Mangateparu Settlement Roads in the Piako County to be County Roads.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of September, 1924.

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county roads.

ALL that portion of the Mangateparu Settlement Road, commencing at the south-westernmost corner of Section 12s, Block XIII, Waitoa Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in an easterly direction adjoining or passing through the said Section 12s and Sections 13s, 14s, and 15s, Block XIII, Waitoa Survey District, and terminating at its junction with the Morrinsville–Tahuna Road, being a distance of 1 mile 21·75 chains, more or less; marked D–M on plan.
