Boundaries of Borough of Te Awamutu altered.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of September, 1924.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS, in pursuance of section one hundred and thirty-two of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, a petition was presented to the Governor-General praying that part of the Borough of Te Awamutu should be excluded from the said borough and included in the County of Waipa :

And whereas a notice showing the proposed alteration in boundaries of the said boroughs has been gazetted and publicly notified, and no objections in writing against such alteration have been lodged :

And whereas it is expedient that the said area should be excluded from the said borough of Te Awamutu :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that as on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the Borough of Te Awamutu and included in the County of Waipa.

SCHEDULE.

AREA EXCLUDED FROM THE BOROUGH OF TE AWAMUTU.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the Mangahoe Stream with the Mangapiko Stream and proceeding thence up the middle of said Mangahoe Stream to the north-western boundary of Section 129, Parish of Puniu ; thence north-easterly, north-westerly, and south-westerly generally along the boundary of the Borough of Te Awamutu as described in the New Zealand Gazette, 1915, page 1834, to the point of commencement.

Boundaries of Borough of Riccarton and County of Waimairi altered.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this 29th day of September, 1924.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS, in pursuance of section one hundred and thirty-two of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, a petition was presented to the Governor-General praying that a certain area be excluded from the County of Waimairi and included in the Borough of Riccarton :

And whereas a Commission appointed under the said section held inquiries, and recommended certain alterations of the said area :

And whereas it is deemed expedient to make the alterations of the boundaries of the said borough and of the said county recommended by the said Commission :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the said Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that as on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the County of Waimairi and included in the Borough of Riccarton.

SCHEDULE.

AREA EXCLUDED FROM THE COUNTY OF WAIMAIRI AND INCLUDED IN THE BOROUGH OF RICCARDON.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in the centre of Blenheim Road in line with the production of the western side of Wainui Road ; thence northerly to and along the western side of the said Wainui Road to its junction with Riccarton Road ; thence westerly along the southern side of the Riccarton Road to the land shown in C.T. 173/29 ; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of that area of land, along the northern and eastern boundaries of Lot 35, deposited plan 2438, and along the eastern boundaries of Lots 34 and 33 and the production thereof to the north-eastern corner of Lot 31, along the eastern boundaries of Lots 30, 31, 29, 28, 27, 26, and 25, and the production of the last named boundary to a point in line with the production of the northern side of Stamford Street ; thence westerly along the continuation of the northern boundary of Stamford Street to the eastern side of Euston Street ; thence southerly along the eastern side of Euston Street and the production thereof to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 52 ; thence to and along the southern boundaries of Sections 52, 51, 50, and 49 and its production to a point 25 links distant from the western side of Wharenui Road ; thence southerly along a line 25 links distant from the western side of Wharenui Road and parallel thereto to the centre of Blenheim Road ; thence easterly along the middle of Blenheim Road to the point of commencement.

Consenting to Land being taken for the Purposes of a Native School in Block III, Hukatere Survey District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of September, 1924.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of a Native school.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land being taken : 4 acres 2 roods, being portion of Native land.

Situated in Block III, Hukatere Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 22729.)

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59844, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured purple.

Consenting to stopping a Road in the Town of Reefton, Inangahua County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of September, 1924.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Inangahua County Council stopping the road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 2 roods 0·6 perch.

Adjoining or passing through Sections 1012 to 1017 and 762 to 771, situated in Town of Reefton.

In the Nelson Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 60223, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.
