A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a street the land in the Borough of Paeroa described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the street described in the Second Schedule hereto.


FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A STREET.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a street: 3 roods 36·3 perches.

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:

And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.


SCHEDULE.

Ngātiru No. 24 Block, being Section 16, Block II, Waimate Survey District: Approximate area, 165 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of September, 1924.

Amending an Order in Council authorizing Messrs. Ellis and Burnand (Limited) to erect Electric Lines within the Township of Manunui.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of September, 1924.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, and of every other power enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Order in Council dated the nineteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 59 of the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, authorizing Messrs. Ellis and Burnand (Limited) to erect electric lines in the Township of Manunui by revoking clause 2 thereof (System of Supply), and substituting therefor the following clause, viz. :—

“2. SYSTEM OF SUPPLY.

“The system of supply shall be three-phase four-wire system at a nominal pressure not exceeding 400 volts between phases and 230 volts between each phase and neutral conductor, measured at the consumer’s terminals.”

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the City of Wellington, of a Width less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of September, 1924.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Wellington City Council to permit the laying-off of a street of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than forty feet within the area described in the Schedule hereto, it being difficult and inexpedient to lay off a street of a width of sixty-six feet in such area.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of land situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 3 roods 12·55 perches, more or less, being Sections 46 to 50 and 62 to 67, and parts Sections 51, 68, 45, and 61, Wadestown, being part Section 1, Harbour Registration District. As the said area is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 60754, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged green.
