Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 12 acres 2 roods, more or less, being the Karamuramu No. 1 and the Kaitara 3B No. 1 Blocks, Block V, Otamatea Survey District. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/401, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of August, 1924.

Setting apart Land as an Endowment for Nelson College.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by subsection two of section ninety-eight of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1923, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land in the Canterbury Land District described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as an endowment for Nelson College, and is hereby vested in the Governors of the said Nelson College.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 117 acres, more or less, being part of Sections 4l and 48, Block XIII, Towy Survey District (Square 80). Bounded towards the north generally by the Campbell Creek, towards the east by the River Conway, and towards the south-east, south, and west generally by other part of Sections 4l and 48 aforesaid. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 13/90/14A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of August, 1924.

Additional Land at Hokitika taken for the Purposes of the Greymouth-Hokitika Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Greymouth-Hokitika Railway to take further land at Hokitika, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land:-

In the Westland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 34230; deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow, blue, and neutral tint.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of August, 1924.

Declaring Land taken for a Government Work, and not required for that Purpose, to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the stopped Government road declared to be Crown land: 4 acres 0 roods 2 perches.
Adjoining or passing through portions of Allotment 67 and Crown land, situated in Ruatangata Parish, Block VI, Purua Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 22275.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59779, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion this 26th day of August, 1924.
