Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Selection by Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Taranaki Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published in the Gazette of the fifth day of February, then instant, setting apart Crown lands for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.
Ohura County.—Piopiotea West Surrey District.
SECTION 27, Block II: Area, 5 acres.
Waitomo County.—Mapara Survey District.
SECTION 11, Block X: Area, 316 acres.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of July, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Retaruke Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto, and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

All situated in Block III, Retaruke Survey District. (S.O. 1801.)
All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59492, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of July, 1924.

Land taken for the Purposes of widening Luxford Street and Adelaide Road in the City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Public Works Amendment Act, 1913, the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Wellington City Empowering Act, 1897, the Wellington City Empowering Act, 1899, and the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act, 1913, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to mortgage registered number 84513 in favour of the Public Trustee, for the purposes of widening Luxford Street and Adelaide Road in the City of Wellington, and shall vest, subject to the said mortgage, in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four.

APPROXIMATE area: 1 rood 10·72 perches.
Being Lots 2, 3, and 4, and part Lots 1 and 5, D.P 1469, being part Section 1023, Town of Wellington.
Situated in the City of Wellington. (S.O. 1861.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59476, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of July, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government roads described in the Schedule hereto, such roads being no longer required.
