Stopping a Government Road in Blocks XIII and XIV, Whakatane Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road hereby stopped:—
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
4 2 30 Crown land, Blocks XIII and XIV.
13 0 0 Section 337, Block XIV.

Situated in Waimana Parish, Whakatane Survey District. (S.O. 23070.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59023, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of July, 1924.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the Borough of Takapuna of a Width less than 66 ft., but not less than 62 ft.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of July, 1924.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Takapuna Borough Council to permit the laying-out of a street of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than sixty-two feet, within the area described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of connecting Purchas Road (being a blind street) with Norman Road in the Borough of Takapuna.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of land situated in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Takapuna, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 0·2 perches, more or less, being Lot 6 on D.P. 8795, Part Allotment 28, Section 1, Parish of Takapuna. As the said area is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59315, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Appportionment of Representation on the Hawke’s Bay Electric-power Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this 21st day of July, 1924.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby determine with respect to the Hawke’s Bay Electric-power District, being an electric-power district duly constituted by Proclamation dated the twelfth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 42, of the nineteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, that the number of representatives of each constituent district on the Board of the said district shall be the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of that constituent district.

Hawke’s Bay Electric-power Board—First Election.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of July, 1924.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the twentieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, as the day on which shall be held the first election of the representatives of the constituent districts in the Hawke’s Bay Electric-power District, being an electric-power district duly constituted by Proclamation dated the twelfth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 42, of the nineteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four.

Declaring Portions of Roads in Block 111, Retaruke Survey District, to be Government Roads.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of July, 1924.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto, shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.
