THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

straightening the Awaroa Stream, and constructing a stop-bank at Pura Pura, the said Otaua Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-sixteenths of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Awaroa Special-rating Area, being all that area comprising parts of Sections Nos. 101, 135, 157, 158, 159, 160, 161, 162A, part 207, and a piece of Crown land unsurveyed, Waiuku Parish, situated in Block III, Maiora Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first days of January and July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid.

WAIPARA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Waipara County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Waipara County Road and Bridges Loan of £4,000, 1923, authorized to be raised by the Waipara County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of reconstructing bridges washed away during the recent floods, and also for repairing damage to roads and culverts in the county rendered necessary through those floods, the said County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fiftieth (1/50th) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the County of Waipara; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 16th day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAITOTARA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Waitotara County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest, also the other charges on a loan of two hundred and fifty pounds (£250) authorized to be raised by the Waitotara County Council under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of metalling a portion of the Rangitatau West Road, the said Waitotara County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing (¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Rangitatau West Road Special-rating District, comprising Rangitatau Block No. 1, Subdivisions 1A, 1B, 1C, 2A, and 2B, 5, and 6; Rangitatau Blocks 8 and 9, Sections 6 and 7; Lots 1 and 2, Omaranui, being part of Rangitatau 1D; Rangitatau Block, Sections part 14 and 17, and part of 2A and 2B; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the first day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest, also the other charges on a loan of five hundred pounds (£500) authorized to be raised by the Waitotara County Council under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of metalling the Kai Iwi Valley Road, the said Waitotara County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing (¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Kai Iwi Valley Road Special-rating District, comprising Kai Iwi 6F parts of No. 3; 6F 4A No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3; 6F 5A, D.P. 2344; 6G No. 2 and part 6G No. 1; 6F part No. 2, 6B, and part 6A; and the whole of the rateable property in the Mowhanau Village Settlement: and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the first day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE AS SECURITY FOR SEWER LOAN, £26,800.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Hamilton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking fund on a loan of £26,800, authorized to be raised by the Hamilton Borough Council under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, to be expended for making and constructing sewer-drains and drainage-works in the Borough of Hamilton, including the purchase of all necessary land, materials, plant, and tools, and payments for labour, engineers’ fees, plans, and supervision, and compensation to owners of property in respect of such sewer-drainage works, the said Hamilton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one quarter (¼d.) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property in the Borough of Hamilton; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period not exceeding 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
