Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.
SCHEDULE.
HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 5.
Gisborne-Wairoa via Morere Road: All that portion of the Gisborne to Wairoa via Morere Road in the Wairoa County, commencing at Tarewa, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction and terminating at Morere, being a distance of 7 miles 40 chains, more or less; marked A-B on plan.
Napier-Wairoa Road: All that portion of the Napier-Wairoa Road in the Hawke's Bay and Wairoa Counties commencing at the Tutira Homestead gate, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction via the Waikare-Mohaka deviation, and terminating at the north end of the Mohaka River Bridge on the Waikare-Mohaka deviation, being a distance of 27 miles 40 chains, more or less; marked C-D on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.H. 35, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue and marked as above mentioned.

Declaring Road and Portions of Roads in Highway District No. 6, Waitomo, Ohura, Taumarunui, Kaitieke, Otorohanga, and Kawhia Counties, to be Government Roads.

THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.
SCHEDULE.
HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 6.
Te Kuiti-Ohakune Road: All that portion of the Te Kuiti-Ohakune Road in the Waitomo, Ohura, Taumarunui, and Kaitieke Counties, commencing at its junction with the Mangapehi and Te Kuiti-Mokau Roads, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction, passing through Mapiu, Tangitu, Hiwi, Te Koura, Taringamutu, Taumarunui, Piriaka, Oio, Waimarino, and terminating on the southern boundary of the Kaitieke County at the Manganui-a-te-Ao River, being a distance of sixty-four miles, more or less; marked A-B-C on plan.
Kawhia-Kawa Road: All that portion of the Kawhia-Kawa Road, in the Kawhia and Otorohanga Counties, commencing at the Oparau Bridge, and proceeding thence generally in an easterly direction, passing through Te Rauamo, and terminating at the Waipa River Bridge, being a distance of twenty-three miles, more or less; marked D-E on plan.
Auckland-Wellington Main Road: All that portion of the Auckland-Wellington Main Road, in the Waitomo County, commencing at the Te Kumi Railway-station and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction, passing through Hangatiki, and terminating at its junction with the Hangatiki-Waitomo Road, near Hangatiki Railway-station, being a distance of four miles, more or less; marked F-G on plan.
Hangatiki Caves Road: All that road in the Waitomo County known as the Hangatiki Caves Road, commencing at its junction with the Auckland-Wellington Main Road, and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction, and terminating at its junction with the Tumu Tumu-Mangapohue Road, being a distance of seven miles, more or less; marked H-K on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.H. 55, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue and marked as above mentioned.

Bull's-Taumarunui Road: All that portion of the Bull's-Taumarunui Road, in the Waimarino County, commencing at the eastern boundary of the said Waimarino County, and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction, passing through Waiouru, Rangataua, Ohakune, and Horopito, and terminating at the northern boundary of the said Waimarino County at the Manganui-a-te-Ao River Bridge (excluding that portion of the road in the Borough of Ohakune), being a distance of twenty-five miles, more or less; marked A-B on plan.
Wanganui-Raetihi Road: All that portion of the Wanganui-Raetihi Road, in the Waimarino County, commencing on the northern boundary of the Wanganui County at Hapokapoka Creek, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction, and terminating at the Mangawhero River Bridge, being a distance of twenty-one miles, more or less; marked C-D on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.H. 36, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue and marked as above mentioned.

Wellington-Masterton Road: All that portion of the Wellington-Masterton Road, in the Hutt County, commencing at its junction with the Akatarawa Road, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction, passing through Kai-toke and over the Maungaroa and part Rimutaka deviations, and terminating at the summit of the Rimutaka Range, being a distance of 10 miles 40 chains, more or less; marked C-D on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.H. 50, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue and marked as above mentioned.
