OAMARU BOROUGH COUNCIL. RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE. IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Oamaru Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :— That, for providing the interest and other charges on a loan of three thousand pounds, authorized to be raised by the Oamaru Borough Council, under the above mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing certain sanitary drainage-works required to be provided by a requisition under seal of the Board of Health, the said Oamaru Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-farthings in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Oamaru, comprising the whole of the said borough; and that such rate shall be a special annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of September and the first day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off. 283 C.
