IT is hereby notified that at the last annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the New Zealand Institute the following were elected to the Fellowship of the Institute :— William Herbert Guthrie-Smith. Robin John Tillyard, M.A., D.Sc., Sc.D., F.L.S., F.E.S. M. WOOD, Assistant Secretary.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of the COROMANDEL AGRICULTURAL LIME COMPANY (LIMITED). NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting held on the 18th December, 1923, the following resolutions were passed :- "That the company be wound up voluntarily." "That Messrs. PINKER AND BOYD be and are hereby appointed Liquidators for the purpose of such winding-up; and that they confer with Mr. FOSTER on all matters pertaining to the voluntary winding-up of the company." N.Z., now residing in Wellington, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 27th March next to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Registrar of Births and Deaths at Wellington. OAMARU BOROUGH COUNCIL. RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE. IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Oamaru Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :— That, for providing the interest and other charges on a loan of three thousand pounds, authorized to be raised by the Oamaru Borough Council, under the above mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing certain sanitary drainage-works required to be provided by a requisition under seal of the Board of Health, the said Oamaru Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-farthings in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Oamaru, comprising the whole of the said borough; and that such rate shall be a special annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of September and the first day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off. 283 C.
