RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
THAT a special rate of 1/13th part of one penny in the
pound be made on the capital value of all rateable
property within the Tahunanui Town District, to pay interest
and sinking fund of loan of £500 together with ten per cent.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore
subsisting between MATTHEW STRATFORD and LEO
ALBERT, carrying on business as Licensed Plumbers at
26 Seatoun Road, Kilbirnie, Wellington, under the style or
firm of "Stratford and Albert," has been dissolved as from
the 29th day of February, 1924, so far as concerns the said
LEO ALBERT, who retires from the said firm.
The business will in future be carried on by the said
MATTHEW STRATFORD on the premises lately occupied by the
firm—namely, 26 Seatoun Road, Kilbirnie.

NOTICE is hereby given that an extraordinary general
meeting of shareholders will be held at the registered
office of the company, 511-12 N.Z. Insurance Buildings,
Auckland, on Friday, the 21st day of March, 1924, at 11 a.m.,
for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company held in Wellington on Monday, the 25th day of February, 1924, the following extraordinary resolution was passed :
"It is hereby resolved that it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that this company be wound up voluntarily ; and that THOMAS L. BUXTON, Public Accountant, of Wellington, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up."

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, ALBERT RICHARD JOHNS, WILLIAM JOSEPH WALLACE, and FRANK DOWNER MUIR, carrying on business as Brass and Iron Founders at 5 Alpha Street, Wellington, under the style or firm of "Johns, Wallace, and Muir," has been dissolved as from the 13th day of February, 1924, so far as concerns the said FRANK DOWNER MUIR, who retires from the said firm.
All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by ALBERT RICHARD JOHNS and WILLIAM JOSEPH WALLACE, who will continue to carry on the said business in partnership under the style or firm of "Johns and Wallace."

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of five thousand (5,000) pounds, authorized to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of a public hall for the Ngaio District in the said city, the Wellington City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one hundred and ninety-two hundredths of a penny (190/200d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the special-rating area known as the Ngaio District, part of the City of Wellington described in the Schedule hereto ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years from the 1st day of July, 1924, or until the loan is fully paid off.
SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, the boundaries of which commence at a point on the left bank of the Kaiwharawhara Stream, where the south-east boundary of Section 4, Kaiwarra Registration District, intersects the said stream ; thence along the south-east boundary of Section 5 to the north boundary of the Old Porirua Road ; then westerly along the north boundary of the Old Porirua Road to the south corner of Lot 1, being part of Lot 50 being part of Section 5, D.P. 1780, Kaiwarra Registration District ; thence north-easterly along the south-east boundaries of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 51, and 13, D.P. 1780, to the southern boundary of the Old Porirua Road ; thence south-easterly along the south-east boundary of Section 6, Kaiwarra Registration District ; thence along the south-east boundary of said Section 6, Kaiwarra Registration District ; thence along the north-east boundary of said Section 6 to the west boundary of the Old Porirua Road ; thence along the west boundary of the Old Porirua Road until it intersects the north-east boundary of Section 4A, Kaiwarra Registration District ; thence along the north-east boundary of said Section 4A to its most northern-most corner ; thence southerly along the south-east boundary of Section 128, Ohariu Registration District, to its most
