year ending on the 31st day of March, together with a statement of the receipts and expenditure of the Board for such year. A copy of every such report and statement, certified by the Chairman to be correct, shall be sent to the Minister of Lands as soon as possible after each annual meeting.
- The Board shall control the said reserve and the building erected thereon for the purposes of a public hall, and shall also afford settlers and residents of Raurimu and the surrounding district such facilities for meeting within the said hall as may from time to time be determined by the Board; provided that the Board shall have power to fix reasonable charges for the use of the said hall.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 31 perches, more or less, being Section 7, Block II, Raurimu Township. Bounded towards the north-west by Section 6, 282 links; towards the north-east by the Waiouru-Taumarunui Road, 75 links; towards the south-east by Section 8, 250 links; and towards the south-west by Crown land, 81·5 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1911/1641, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of March, 1924.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS by section sixty-nine of the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), as amended by the Rabbit Nuisance Amendment Act, 1918, it is provided that the Governor-General may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, on petition in that behalf from a majority of the ratepayers therein, constitute and declare any part of New Zealand defined in such Order in Council a district for the purposes of Part III of the said Act:
And whereas a petition in accordance with the provisions of the said Act has been received, asking that the lands described in the Schedule hereto be constituted and declared a rabbit district for the purposes of Part III of the said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said Act and its amendments, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby constitute by the specific name of “the Kihikihi Rabbit District,” and declare that part of New Zealand defined in the Schedule hereto to be a district for the purposes of Part III of the said Act; and doth hereby further declare that the Board of Trustees for the said district shall in terms of the said Act consist of seven members.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Waipa County, commencing at the intersection of the Puniu River by the Main Trunk railway-line, thence generally in a south-easterly direction by the Puniu River to the intersection of the south-eastern boundary of Lot 12, Ngamako No. 3, Block II, Puniu Parish; thence in a north-easterly direction by the south-eastern boundary of Lots 12 and 10, Ngamako; thence in a north-westerly direction by the north-eastern boundary of Lot 10, Ngamako; thence generally in a north-easterly direction by the side road to its junction with the main Parawera-Kihikihi Road; thence generally in a north-westerly direction by the main Parawera-Kihikihi Road to Kihikihi Town District; thence generally in a westerly and northerly direction by the southern and western boundaries of the Kihikihi Town District to the intersection of the Te Awamutu–Kihikihi Road; thence generally in a north-westerly direction by the Kihikihi–Te Awamutu Road to the Te Awamutu Borough boundary; thence generally in a westerly and north-westerly direction by the southern and south-western boundaries of Te Awamutu to the intersection of the Main Trunk railway-line; thence generally in a southerly direction by the Main Trunk railway-line to the starting-point.

Amending a Warrant setting apart Crown Land under Section 20 of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1912.
JELLICOE, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by a Warrant dated the eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and published in the Gazette of the fifteenth day of that month, an area of 25 acres, as being Sections 1 and 2, Block VI, Hohoura East Survey District, in the North Auckland Land District, was set apart for disposal under section twenty of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1912:
And whereas it is desired to amend the area described in the Schedule to the said Warrant:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, and of every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf; do hereby amend the Warrant dated the eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, hereinbefore referred to, by substituting the description of Sections 1 and 2, Block VI, Hohoura East Survey District, as set forth in the Schedule hereto, for the description of the said sections set forth in the Schedule to the said Warrant of the eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTIONS 1 and 2, Block VI, Hohoura East Survey District: Area, 40 acres 1 rood 17 perches.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1912, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto for disposal under the section of the Act mentioned.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 29, Block V, Hohoura East Survey District: Area, 25 acres 1 rood.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 23rd day of February, 1924.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Block XIII, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury Land District.
JELLICOE, Governor-General.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for provincial-government purposes, within Class I of the Second Schedule of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, and such land is not vested in trust in any society, body corporate, or trustees:
And whereas it is expedient that such land should be appropriated for a site for a public school, being a purpose within Class III of the said Second Schedule:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the eleventh section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, do by this notification declare that the said land shall, from and after the twelfth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, be appropriated for a site for a public school under Class III of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908; and I do hereby direct that this notification shall be published in the New Zealand Gazette.
