Land set apart as a Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.


SCHEDULE.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SOUTHLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

Provisional State Forest No. 43.

ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 640 acres, more or less, situated in Block LIII, Hokonui Survey District; and bounded generally as follows—towards the north-west by Sections 432 and 709, Block LIII, Hokonui Survey District, the abutment of a public road, and Section 652, Block LIII, Hokonui Survey District; towards the north-east by Section 431, Block LIII, Hokonui Survey District; towards the south-east by the abutment of a road, Sections 661 and 890, Block LIII, Hokonui Survey District, and a public road; and towards the north-west, south-west, and south-east by Section 364,

Block LIII, Hokonui Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on Forest Atlas No. 203, deposited in the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon washed green with neutral border.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of March, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Forests Act, 1921–22, and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby set apart the forest land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest within the provisions of the said Act.


SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

State Forest Part No. 7.

ALL that area of national-endowment land in the North Auckland Land District, being Section 1, Block VII, Waoku Survey District, containing by admeasurement 606 acres 1 rood, more or less. As the same is delineated on forest atlas No. 007, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green with green border.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of March, 1924.

Crown Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.


SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 1, Block V, Awaoteatua Survey District: Area, 384 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of February, 1924.
