Proclaiming Road-lines laid out through Lots 28B, 29, and 30, Rangitaiki Parish, to be Public Roads.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto were, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the seventeenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, duly laid off as road-lines, in pursuance of sections forty-nine and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 :
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that the said road-lines should be proclaimed as public roads, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act :
And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-lines as public roads has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914 :
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-lines should be proclaimed as public roads :
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by sections forty-nine and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and in so far as each of these sections is applicable, do hereby proclaim as public roads the road-lines described in the Schedule hereto.

A. R. P. Portion of
15 0 3 Lot 28B Parish of Rangitaiki, situated in Blocks IA and I, Whakatane Survey District ; coloured red.
21 3 35 Lot 29, Parish of Rangitaiki, situated in Block I, Whakatane Survey District : coloured blue.
3 1 0 Lot 30, Parish of Rangitaiki, situated in Block I, Whakatane Survey District, and Block V, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District ; coloured yellow.
In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/539, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2061, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of February, 1924.

WHEREAS the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto were by an order of the Native Land Court made on the second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, duly laid off as a road-line, in pursuance of sections forty-eight, forty-nine, and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 :
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that in the public interest the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act :

Change of Name of Locality “Buckley” to “Tolaga Bay.”

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS settlers in the locality known as “Buckley,” in the County of Uawa, desire that the name of such locality should be changed to “Tolaga Bay,” and it is considered expedient to alter the same :
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the name of the locality known as “Buckley” in the County of Uawa shall be and the same is hereby altered to “Tolaga Bay,” and do assign the last-mentioned name to such locality accordingly ; and also do hereby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, not being earlier than six months after the first publication thereof in the Gazette.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of December, 1923.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers, and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Government Railways Amendment Act, 1920, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
