Declaring Road and Portions of Road on the Hawera County to be County Roads.
JELLICOE, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of February, 1924.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road and portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county roads.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Disraeli Street commencing at its intersection with South Road and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction adjoining or passing through Sections 46, 48, 50, 52, 53, and 57, being subdivisions of E.R. 189, Block IX, Hawera Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Manawapou Road, being a distance of 10·10 chains, more or less
Also all that road known as Pata Street commencing at its intersection with South Road and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction adjoining or passing through sections 36, 39, 40, and 41, being subdivisions of E.R. 189, Block IX, Hawera Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Manawapou Road, being a distance of 7·24 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of Wera Street commencing at its intersection with “The Avenue” and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction adjoining or passing through Sections 20, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, and part 73, being subdivisions of E.R. 189, Block IX, Hawera Survey District, and terminating at a point opposite the said Section 73, 8·22 chains from the point of commencement, being a distance of 8·22 chains, more or less.
All in the Taranaki Land District, Hawera County, Hawera Extension No. 5, as the said road and portions of roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 58880, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portions of the Taringamotu Block Roads in the Taumarunui County to be County Roads.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county roads.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road commencing at its junction with the Taumarunui–Te Kuiti Road at the south-western corner of Section 15, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 13 chains; thence generally in a northerly direction adjoining or passing through the said Section 15 and Sections 14, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, hall-site, school-site, 13, 11, and 10, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District, and terminating at the northernmost corner of the said Section 10, being a total distance of 2 miles 5 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of road commencing at its junction with the formed road about 4 chains west of the north-eastern boundary of Section 13, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in an easterly direction adjoining or passing through Sections 13 and 12, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District, and terminating about 10 chains north-east of the south-western boundary of Section 12, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District, being a distance of 15 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of road commencing at its junction with the formed road at or near the south-eastern corner of Section 15, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction adjoining or passing through Sections 16 (reserve), 3 (recreation reserve), and 37, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District, and terminating at its junction with the formed road at or near the easternmost corner of the said Section 37, being a distance of 70 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of road commencing at the Rangaroa Creek (Taumarunui Borough boundary) being at or near the south-western corner of Section 27, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction adjoining or passing through the said Section 27 and Sections 26, 25, 24, mill-site, Sections 23, 22, 21, and mill-site, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District, and terminating at the south-western boundary of Section 4, Block XIV, Tuhua Survey District, being a distance of 2 miles, more or less.
Also all that portion of road commencing at its junction with the formed road at the northernmost corner of Section 23, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction adjoining or passing through the said Section 23 and Section 22; and thence in a north-easterly direction generally adjoining or passing through the said Section 22 and Section 21, Block XIII, and Section 4, Block XIV, Tuhua Survey District; and terminating at the easternmost corner of the said Section 4, Block XIV, Tuhua Survey District; being a distance of 1 mile 70 chains, more or less.
In the Auckland Land District, Taumarunui County, Taringamotu Loan Block; as the said portions of roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 58744, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Poarangi Road in the Whangamomona County to be a County Road.

ALL that portion of Poarangi Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Whangamomona County, commencing at a point 3 chains 22 links south-west of the boundary between Sections 2 and 3, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction adjoining or passing through the said Sections 2 and 3 and Sections 11 and 4, and terminating at a point 5 chains 69 links north-east of the boundary between the said Sections 11 and 4, all in Block II, Mahoe Survey District; being a distance of 49 chains 29 links, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 58906, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
