IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Uawa County Council stopping the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto.

Consenting to the Raising of Loans by certain Local Authorities.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 12th day of February, 1924.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made under section twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919, for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it is expedient that such consent should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the Schedule hereto, and it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the said loans.

Declaring Portion of the Taringamotu Valley Road in the Taumarunui County to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 12th day of February, 1924.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto, shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of the Taringamotu Valley Road in the Auckland Land District, Taumarunui County, commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 10, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction adjoining or passing through Ohura South Blocks Part A No. 3E 2c 3B, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District, A 3B l, Blocks XIII and XIV, Tuhua Survey District, A 3B 2, A 3A, Block XIV, Tuhua Survey District, Part A 3E 2c 3B, Blocks X and XIV, Tuhua Survey District, and A 3E 2c 3A, Block X, Tuhua Survey District, and terminating at its junction with the Ngakonui Stream at a point in the said Section A 3E 2c 3A, being a distance of 3 miles, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 58745, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
