Amending Order in Council fixing Dues for the Use of the Karamea Wharf.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of December, 1923.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the tenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 68 of the thirteenth day of the same month, dues and rates were fixed and authorized to be levied and taken for the use of the Government wharf at Karamea:
And whereas it is desired to amend the said Order in Council in the manner hereinafter described:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Harbours Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the said Order in Council by striking out the words “twentieth day of July,” and substituting therefor the words “first day of October.”

Amending Regulations for auditing of Solicitors’ Trust Accounts.

THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section fourteen of the Law Practitioners Amendment Act, 1913, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the regulations for auditing solicitors’ trust accounts made by Order in Council of the twenty-second day of May, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the twenty-eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and the amendment of the said regulations made by Order in Council of the thirty-first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the third day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, by providing that the term “Solicitor-General” wherever it appears in the said regulations and amendment thereof shall be deemed to include the Attorney-General or any barrister of the Supreme Court in the employment of the Crown whom he shall appoint; and doth declare that this Order in Council shall come into operation upon the publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Boundaries of Borough of Feilding altered.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of December, 1923.

THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, in pursuance of section one hundred and thirty-two of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, a petition was presented to the Governor-General praying that a certain area should be excluded from the Borough of Feilding and included in the County of Oroua:
And whereas a notice showing the proposed alteration in boundaries of the said borough has been gazetted and publicly notified, and no objections in writing against such alteration have been lodged:
And whereas it is expedient that the said area should be excluded from the Borough of Feilding and included in the County of Oroua:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that as on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the Borough of Feilding and included in the County of Oroua.
SCHEDULE.
AREA EXCLUDED FROM THE BOROUGH OF FEILDING.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, being Suburban Sections 89 to 111 (both inclusive) and 133 to 151 (both inclusive) of Subdivision A, Manchester Block, Town of Feilding.

Consenting to the Raising of Loans by certain Local Authorities.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of December, 1923.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made under section twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919, for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it is expedient that such consent should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the Schedule hereto, and it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the said loans.
