with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolutions (two) passed by the Auckland City Council on the twenty-sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, respectively, viz. :-

(1.) “That the Auckland City Council, having control of Bulwer Street and Bayfield Road, Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the said portion of Bulwer Street fronting Lots 1, 2, and 3, and that portion of Bayfield Road fronting Lots 3 and 4, all of Allotment 24 of Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland;

(2.) “That the Auckland City Council, having control of Bayfield Road, Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the said street, fronting Lots 15, 16, and 17 of Subdivision Section 3, Allotment 24, Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland”; subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the southern side of the portion of Bulwer Street (described in the Schedule hereto) or on the eastern side of the portions of Bayfield Road (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portions of streets.

SCHEDULE.

THE southern side of all that portion of street situated in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, known as Bulwer Street, fronting Lots 1, 2, and 3 of Allotment 24 of Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland, and the eastern side of all that portion of street in the said land district and city known as Bayfield Road, fronting Lots 3 and 4 of Allotment 24 of Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland; also the eastern side of all that portion of the said Bayfield Road fronting Lots 15, 16, and 17 of subdivision of Section 3 of Allotment 24, Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland. As the said portions of streets are more particularly delineated on the plans marked P.W.D. 57699 and 58071, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue.

The South-western Side of Portion of Church Street, in the Borough of Feilding, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of December, 1923.

Present :

THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Feilding Borough Council on the twenty-second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, viz. :-

“That the Feilding Borough Council, having control of that portion of Church Street fronting Section 208, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the said portion of that street”; such portion of street being described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

THE south-western side of all that portion of street, situated in the Wellington Land District (Borough of Feilding), known as Church Street, fronting Section 208, Town of Feilding. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 58502, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue.

Vesting Reserves in the Shannon Borough Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of December, 1923.

Present :

THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have been permanently reserved for municipal purposes: And whereas it is expedient to vest the said reserves in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Shannon:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Shannon, in trust, for municipal purposes.

WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have been duly set apart for municipal purposes. And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserves in the Cobden Town Board :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section four of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Cobden Town Board, in trust, for municipal purposes.
