THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Dominion, doth hereby amend the regulations made on the fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, and published in the Gazette of the seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, by prohibiting the introduction of cattle, sheep, swine, and fodder for live-stock, from the United Kingdom; and doth hereby declare that this Order in Council shall come into force on the date of the publication thereof in the Gazette, but shall not have application to any cattle, sheep, or swine which may have been shipped from the United Kingdom prior to the coming into operation of this Order in Council.

Removing Name of a Chemist from the Pharmaceutical Register of New Zealand. [H. 108.]

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of December, 1923.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power conferred on him by section twenty-four of the Pharmacy Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, doth hereby order and direct that the name of Charles Marshall Fyfe, of Auckland, New Zealand, be erased from the Pharmaceutical Register of New Zealand, the said Charles Marshall Fyfe having been convicted of an offence which, in the opinion of all the members of the Pharmacy Board of New Zealand, renders him unfit to be on the said Register.

Revoking Order in Council licensing the Northern Coal Company (Limited) to use and occupy a Part of the Foreshore of Ngunguru River, as a Site for a Coal-hopper.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of December, 1923.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the thirteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and ten, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 59 of the sixteenth day of the same month, the Northern Coal Company (Limited) was licensed to use and occupy a portion of the foreshore of Ngunguru River as a site for a coal-hopper, as shown on plan marked M.D. 3428, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington:

And whereas the company has made application to have the said license revoked, and it is desirable to revoke the same:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Harbours Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council dated the thirteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and ten, and the rights and privileges thereby conferred, as from the thirteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the eighth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 34 of the twenty-seventh day of the same month, the Leyland O’Brien Timber Company (Limited) was licensed to use and occupy a portion of the foreshore of Tairua River, Thames County, as a site for timber-booms as shown on plan marked M.D. 3645, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington:

And whereas the company has made application to have the said license revoked, and it is desirable to revoke the same:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Harbours Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council dated the eighth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and the rights and privileges thereby conferred, as from the eighth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three.

The Northern Side of Portion of Cleveland Street, in the City of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of December, 1923.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the twenty-ninth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, viz.:

“The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the northern side of all that portion of Cleveland Street beginning at a point 566·86 links from its junction with Ohiro Road and extending for a distance of 90·14 links, being frontage of part of Lot 110, D.P. 392, being part Section 12, Brooklyn, Ohiro District, Block X, Port Nicholson Survey District ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the northern side of the said portion of Cleveland Street (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of street, situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Cleveland Street, fronting part Lot 110, D.P. 392, being part Section 12, Ohiro District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 58594, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
