PAEROA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Paeroa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £1,000, authorized to be raised by the
Paeroa Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act,
for domain-improvements, the said Paeroa Borough Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-eighth of one
penny (½d.) in the pound upon the unimproved value of all
rateable property in the Borough of Paeroa; and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day
of June in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.

HAMILTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

SPECIAL SECURITY RATE DRAINAGE 10-PER-CENT. £11,000
LOAN.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Hamilton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking
fund on a loan of £11,000, authorized to be raised by the
Hamilton Borough Council under the Local Bodies' Loans
Act, 1913, for making and constructing drains and drainage-
works in the Borough of Hamilton, including the purchase of
all necessary land and materials, plant and tools, and all pay-
ments for labour, engineer's fees, plans and supervision, and
for compensation to owners of property in respect of such
drainage-works, the said Hamilton Borough Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of one-tenth part of a penny
in the pound on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rate-
able property in the Borough of Hamilton; and that such
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of
April in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period not exceeding 36½ years, or until the loan
is fully paid off.

OHURA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913,
and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the
Ohura County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Ohura County
Antecedent Liability Loan of £5,200, 1923, authorized to be
raised by the Ohura County Council under the above-men-
tioned Act for the purpose of repaying the Council's "ante-
cedent liability" as defined by the Local Bodies' Finance
Act, 1921–22, the said Ohura County Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of one-tenth (1/10th) of a penny in
the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of
the County of Ohura; and that such special rate shall be
an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
and be payable yearly on the first day of October in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.

1923.—£16,500 (1923) ROAD-CONSTRUCTION LOAN.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Mount Albert Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £16,500, authorized to be raised by the
Mount Albert Borough Council under the above-mentioned
Act, for road-construction, the said Mount Albert Borough
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of eleven
one-hundredths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable
value of all rateable property of the Borough of Mount
Albert; and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be pay-
able yearly on the first day of July in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years,
or until the loan is fully paid off.

charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the
Mount Albert Borough Council under the above-mentioned
Act, for the purpose of the purchase of a quarry-site, the said
Mount Albert Borough Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of seven two-hundredths of a penny in the pound
upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the
Borough of Mount Albert; and that such special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each an
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Lake County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That for the purpose of providing the instalments of
principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of
£1,500, authorized to be raised by the Lake County Council,
under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of
providing the Council's share of the cost of constructing a
bridge over the Kawarau River at the Kawarau Falls, the
said Lake County Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of one-twentieth of a penny (1/20d.) in the pound upon
the rateable value of all rateable properties in the area,
comprising the whole of the County of Lake; and such
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day
of August in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.
