A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anyway enabling me
in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby pro-
claim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a Native school;
and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect
on and after the second day of June, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-three.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 5 acres.
Portion of Paraauamu No. 3, situated in Block XII, Mangao-
poro Survey District (Poverty Bay R.D.). (S.O. 994,
brown.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56269,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
edged pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of May,
1923.

section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rush-
worth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in
Block III, Waipu Survey District, described in the Schedule
hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a
road: 2 acres O roods 13 perches.
Portion of Lot 5 of Allotment 27, Parish of Waipu, Block
III, Waipu Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O.
22309.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56828,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of May,

Drury Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in
this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby pro-
claim as stopped the Government roads described in the
Schedule hereto, such roads being no longer required.

General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of May,

Amending Order in Council making Provision for Preparation
of Rolls for Whakatane Harbour Board Election.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day
of May, 1923.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the ninth day of
April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three,
and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 34, of the
nineteenth day of the same month, certain provision was
made for the preparation of rolls for the election of members
of the Whakatane Harbour Board:
And whereas it is desirable to amend the said Order in
Council in the manner hereinafter described:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority conferred upon him by section sixty-
five of the Harbours Amendment Act, 1910, and of all other
powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the hereinbefore-
recited Order in Council by adding the following proviso
thereto:-
Provided that in the case of the Opouriao and Omataroa
Wards of the said harbour district the words "twenty-
eighth day of April" and "seventh day of May" shall be
respectively substituted for the words "twenty-seventh day
of January" and "fifteenth day of February" in said section
forty-four, the words "fourteenth day of May" for the words
"twenty-second day of February" in said section forty-five,
and for the words "first Wednesday in April" in said section
forty-eight.
