Declaring Portion of the Mohakatino Valley Road, in the Clifton County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of May, 1923.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of the Mohakatino Valley Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Clifton County, commencing at its junction with the Mimi-Mokau Road, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through Subdivisions 1 and 2 of Block III, Tainui Survey District, and terminating at a point approximately 10 links south-east of the Waikiri Stream Bridge; being a distance of 1 mile 1 chain, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56915, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

ALL that portion of road known as the Uruti-Tangitu Deviation of the Uruti Road, situated in the Taranaki Land District, Clifton County, commencing at a point four chains south of the Tangitu Stream Bridge situated at the south-eastern corner of Section 7, Block VI, Upper Waitara Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through Sections 7 and 4, Block VI aforesaid, and terminating at its junction with Uruti Road in the said Section 4; being a distance of 1 mile 76 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56931, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Otorohanga-Otewa to Rangitoto I.F.S. No. 2 (or Otewa-Rangiatea) Road, in the Otorohanga County, to be a County Road.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of April, 1923.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the Auckland Land District, Otorohanga County, known as the Otorohanga-Otewa to Rangitoto I.F.S. No. 2 (or Otewa-Rangiatea) Road, commencing at a point on the left bank of the Waipa Stream twenty chains, more or less, from the north-western boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 33c 2b, Block VI, Mangaorongo Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through Rangitoto-Tuhua Nos. 33c 2b and 33c No. 4, part 29c 2c and 29c 2b, and terminating at a point on the Rangiatea Road thirty-five chains, more or less, north-west of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 27b, Block VI, Mangaorongo Survey District; being a distance of 1 mile 75 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56799, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Waimarino County, known as the Mangatiti East Road, commencing at the boundary between Section 4, Block XI, and Section 6, Block XII, Whirinaki Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction, adjoining or passing through Sections 4 and 3, Block XI, Whirinaki Survey District, and terminating at a point thirty chains north-east of the boundary between Sections 2 and 3, Block XI aforesaid; being a distance of 2 miles 33 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56856, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

WHEREAS by the thirtieth section of the Public Works Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed βthe said Actβ), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any public work is not required for such public work the Governor-General may, by an Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set forth in the said Act:
