Consenting to Land being taken for the Development of Water-power, Horahora Scheme, in Block XII, Aroha Survey District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of May, 1923.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the development of water-power, such land being partly occupied by a building.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land being taken: 2 acres 0 roods 6 perches.
Being portion of Lot 23 on D.P. 179, situated in Block XII, Aroha Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 22664.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56741, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured partly red and partly edged red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for street purposes (Mount Street and the Terrace) in the City of Wellington, portion of such land being occupied by buildings, yards, and gardens.

Declaring Portion of the Maihihi-Hingaia Road, in the Otorohanga County, to be a County Road.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of May, 1923.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the Auckland Land District, Otorohanga County, known as the Maihihi-Hingaia Road, commencing at its junction with the Mangaorongo Valley Road, and proceeding thence generally in an easterly direction adjoining or passing through Section 2, Section 6 (Rangitoto A 21B 2), school-site, Block VII, Mangaorongo Survey District, and Section 5 (Rangitoto A 21B 2), Sections 3, 2, and 1 of Rangitoto A 18B 2, portion of Rangitoto A 17A Section 11 (school-site); thence generally in a northerly direction adjoining or passing through Rangitoto A No. 7B and Section 26 (Crown land), Block VIII, Mangaorongo Survey District, and terminating at a point on the southern boundary of Rangitoto A No. 5, Block VIII, Mangaorongo Survey District; being a distance of 4 miles 53 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56798, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked C-A.

ALL that portion of road in the Auckland Land District, Otorohanga County, known as the Pukemapau Block and access road, commencing at its junction with the access road to Section 1, Blocks III and IV, Mangaorongo Survey District, at a point approximately fifty chains from the western boundary of the said Section 1, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction, adjoining or passing through Rangitoto A Block, Sections No. 2A, No. 2B 1, No. 2B 2; thence generally in a south-westerly direction through Rangitoto A No. 2B 3, No. 14B 2, Block III, Mangaorongo Survey District, and Rangitoto-Tuhua 29c 2A 1, Blocks III and VII, Mangaorongo Survey District, and terminating at its junction with the Mangaorongo Valley Road; being a distance of 2 miles 72 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56902, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked A-B.
